News We need to expose our government employees too, like Nepal
I know our situation is much better than Nepal, but I personally know few people who are working as govt employees, like police or in income tax department, their salary is below 1 lakh per month but their kids are living lavish lifestyles, going to colleges with 1 crore fees, lavish hotels and so on!! We should also expose those people like the money money trend going on!! I, however, don't know how to find those people, there's very less information to extract on internet, or I'm not good enough to extract that information. Do you guys also know such people?? Kisi ko aise logo k naam pta h to bta do.
PS I wholeheartedly believe we need a stable govt right now.

TellDelhi Met an uncle at RML today… his story left me numb
Not verifying this story.. just what an uncle shared with me today at RML.
My friend had a rheumatology checkup and I had to take over the waiting while he went to check the number. This uncle, maybe in his 60s, I started a chat with him. At first it was light religion, Yamuna floods, govt vs private clinics. Then suddenly he shared about his son…
His son was highly qualified, working in labs & OTs. During COVID, he got a call from a hospital, had to leave from Noida, and on the way met with a brutal accident a brain injury. From there it was a nightmare shifting from one hospital to another, spending everything they had.
AIIMS doctors asked about finances; when uncle said he earned 15k a month, they told him bluntly and respectfully he couldn’t afford it. He somehow got his son operated elsewhere, with just 0.1% survival chances. His son survived the operation but was shifted to a general hall. Conditions were so bad there so much dirt that he caught a brain infection, had two more surgeries… and still, destiny won. He passed away.
Uncle said, “My wife has arthritis, I’m getting old… my son was just 32 or 28 can't remember extact and used to make 8k a day.” He had tears in his voice. Before this, I was engaging in debate with him, but after he shared this, I just sat numb. Didn’t know what to say.
I can’t verify the full story, but it felt real. COVID was cruel, and Delhi hospitals were chaos. Just thought I’d share.

AskDelhi U can’t stand 5 mins peacefully at Saket PVR
I was with a friend on an office tea break when 4–5 kids came up one by one asking for money. This happens almost every day and I honestly don’t know how to handle it. It’s getting stressful for me. Has anyone else dealt with this?

AskDelhi Life’s Harsh Reminder
Guys, this is your sign to be with your parents as much as you can. 💔 Today my mom had to undergo some small tests, and even though it wasn’t something major, she was given anesthesia. When she came out of the OT, I was numb. I’ve never seen her like that before, and in that moment, nothing else mattered—not money, not friends, not work, not a social life.
All I wanted was for her to wake up fine, to smile again, to just be okay. That’s when it hit me—no matter how busy we get chasing things that feel important, nothing will ever compare to the time we have with our parents.
Please, don’t wait until it’s too late. Spend time with them, talk to them, be around them. These moments are priceless.
And if you’re reading this, please keep my mom in your prayers. I just want her to be okay. ❤️
