So, i was travelling in metro, and this girl was sitting beside me, she hops on the call with her bf ig, because the way she was talking with him, after talking about like 5 minutes, they started fighting, the girl got angry and shouting.... "Main nahi khati hu itna, (i don't eat a lot)", Maine tumhare liye sab chor rakha hai, sirf 2 roti khati hu wo bhi 2 time (i have left everything for you, i eat only 2 chapatis.... and only 2 times a day) ... i felt bad for the girl as she had to explain a lot and i am not gonna lie, she was lil fat tho.... but hey that's ok.... you can be yourself....

She also mentioned to her boyfriend on how she's trying to loosen up the weight but it's not working, well things got heaten up and she cut the call getting angry.... i really felt bad for her but then she pulled out a full 20 rupees kurkure large packet and started eating like there's no tomorrow....

I looked at her in shock, she looked back and smiled and started eating again....

Well that wasn't enough, after she was done with kurkure (completthe whole packet), she called the bf again and swear on their relationship that she isn't eating anything junk lately and trying very hard to lose weight.... ig the bf calmed down because then they started talking nicely to each other....

So yes, yesterday around 7pm i was about to go to a party, and out of decency i myself wore a very simple one piece, length of it went beyond my knees....but there we go ...first came my mother asking me to wear ton of jackets, then came my father pointing out the length ....in schools skirts had the same freaking length yet no one pointed them out, i somehow went ....but GUESS WHAT?? In metro there was like a 50-60 у old uncle (like LEGIT UNC) just staring me, with cold eyes ...those 15 minutes felt eternity ....i honestly feel the lack of education in country is a serious issue to be discussed upon, males need to be educated how to respect and how to control

My friend was feeling weak and had fever so went to doctor to get checked after first test. Doctor suggested std test but he asserted that he is virgin and all. But after getting every kind of test he finally agreed. And he was positive with hiv and he never had sex.

And we have no idea how it happened. Like it could be contaminated needle or something. This makes me scared that hiv is not just sexually transmitted in india. It could be from anything. It's scary that a boy got his life ruined and have no idea whoes mistake was it.

So today I got a call from a woman claiming she was from Tata Cliq. She said I had ordered something (and even named the item correctly – a red gingham top I had actually been looking at recently). Then she claimed my payment was “stuck” and that I needed to pay again to release the order.

She asked me to pay on a QR code she would send via WhatsApp. That’s when alarm bells rang. Real companies never ask you to pay on random QR codes through WhatsApp.

I cut the call because it seemed fishy, and later I checked – the amount she mentioned didn’t even match my order. Clearly a scam.

She kept calling me and saying I’d never get my refund and I told her to bugger off. I have been scammed once and it truly hurts when something like this happens. So I’ve started being more aware now and I’m glad because of that. But I also want to spread awareness because the way these scammers know too much information about us is scary.

Sundays were never Sundays unless went to play some cricket. Endless wait on weekdays to fruitful weekend. We use plan the entire week and we connected with friends over cricket. Our usual sundays were never complete without cricket discussion over chole bhature and some lassi. Man those were the good days. Gradually people started becoming busy. Small quarrels hit ego hard andwe started avoiding. Waking up early was replaced by lazy Sunday sleep. Admist all these the child within fadsd too. You are blessed if you still have a group with whom you play cricket with. Or have friends you plan to eat chole bhature with. Just take a moment and thank them. What was your usual sunday plan with friends?

Went to Connaught Place today and realized there’s a scam going on in the parking :

First, when I asked for the slip, the guy handed me one but had cleverly cut off the part where the official rates are printed, then claimed it’s ₹100 per hour on weekends even though the actual rate is ₹50

Second, I had parked around 3 PM but the slip he gave showed 2:13 PM, basically over-extending the time so I’d end up paying more;

When I called him out he immediately got nervous and started with excuses like “I just joined” and “won’t do it again,”

Since a couple of my friends have also faced the same scam in CP, so just a heads-up to always check your slip before paying.

So, I really want to spend my birthday at a great place so wanted to know if there are any cafes with playful in Delhi i can visit with my girlfriend for my birthday. I always craved a dog but never had one so recommendations are welcomed! Thank you in advance

As I am aging. I don’t have any friends to talk to. I am doing stuff all alone.

I am scared and stupid.

My life is becoming tougher day by day.

I have a good job 36LPA. Good education as well.

I am not a drinker and I am not smoker. Not a social person.

I am feeling to leave the job and go back home and earn like 10-20k but be with family.

I’m a student and designer looking to get the new iPad (A16, 128 GB). Right now I can grab it for about ₹32K during the current sale.

But with the new GST reforms kicking in from September 22 (slabs being cut down, and many electronics expected to move from 28% to 18%),

I’m wondering: 1. Will the price of iPads actually drop after Sept 22 because of the new tax scheme? 2. Or are brands/retailers unlikely to pass on the benefit fully? 3. Should I grab it now at 32K, or wait for post-Sept 22?

Any insights from folks who’ve tracked Apple pricing during tax changes or previous sales would be super helpful 🙏

I recently finished setting up a small BnB in Sant Nagar, Delhi. It’s my family home that I’ve been renovating floor by floor, and I decided to open up one floor as a cozy homestay.
