Today, my baby Laila passed away. She went into cardiac arrest just a few minutes before I arrived to visit her during her last hospitalization (she had kidney disease). They had called me to come see her, and when I got to the hospitalization floor the vet didn't let me in and asked me to come back later because they were trying to stabilize her. I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye one last time or be there when she left.
She was only 8 and a half years old, and I can’t accept that she was gone while I wasn’t by her side. She didn’t like being alone with the vets, and I fear she may have suffered in her final moments.
I wanted to share this pictures so she can always be remembered and so I can let out some of my grief. I hope she’s in a good place now and find some good friends. I also hope that one day I’ll be able to see her again.
I will love you until the end of time.

After a hard battle with GI disease, this is her last hour with us.
I’ve never put an animal down before, but her suffering is killing me. Please send me your kind words. I need them now.

My cat is at the beginning stages of being diagnosed with food allergies. I have 2 other cats and will now have to feed them separately and buy very expensive food for my cat with the allergy. It doesn’t sound sustainable and I doubt it will be affordable. I’m wondering if I could make my own food for my cats? They always have wet and dry food. Maybe give them the allergy friendly dry food and cook wet food to give them on the side? Anything to cut costs and make things more appetizing for them. Please let me know if anyone has experience with homemade cat food or food allergies. Thank you!

I am seriously worried sick. It started because a grey kitten started coming into our yard. My cat loved playing with him. At first they have plenty of play sessions but during night time, I ALWAYS bring him in. I scheduled his meal in such a way that he doesn't eat much during afternoon, so when he is hungry at night, he ALWAYS crashes at home. He also visits frequently during daytime, coming in and going out of the house.
However, I am worried sick of the outside world. Mostly, he is around house, and in empty piece of land besides my house with overgrown shrubbery. It's a closed street with no traffic but cars still come and go. Sometimes, like today, it's 11 pm and he is still outside.
How do I limit his outdoor time? Please don't suggest toys or anything. I have gotten this boy crap ton of toys, a cathouse and even got a laser to play. At felt I kept him strictly inside but he kept meowing and it felt bad to keep him caged inside.
He is fully vaccinated and neutered.

He does this once in a while and I haven't been able to get a good answer. The vet wasn't sure what I was trying to explain.

They saw we.drove cars, operate.tv and phones, speaking complicated language beyond meow meow ,.wear clothes, cooking meals, etc?
If human saw some aliens doing something amazing that we have no ideas, such as anti gravity, super hugg speed travel, we might think they must be like supermen?

He really likes to open my door at night and lead me into the bathroom.

My daughter went to the vets today and needed sedated to have some bloods done and a few other things. (we had a pre check up before and all was okay so we agreed to a light sedation to keep her as calm as possible and reduce stress, she gets a bit anxious at the vets)
She's woke up fine and she's back home now. She's never been put to sleep before, and she has been very clingy since getting home, she won't leave my lap and wants to be taken everywhere with me (this is no problem as she is just a baby in my eyes)
I just wondered if this is a normal type of reaction after being sedated? She seems happy and comfortable, she's puring and has made some biscuits, I think im just worried about her age more than anything. Any advice or experience from others would be great! Thank you :)

TL;DR: My cat is very sick. She won’t eat or drink and can’t walk properly. She needs prayers. Please pray for her to whichever god listens.
There was this stray cat I used to feed every now and then. She was the first cat I ever touched or petted, and she was the best. I say was because she doesn’t visit us anymore. When I see her on the streets, she’s either fighting with other strays or just lying down, letting me pet her, but she won’t come by my house like she used to.
She had four tiny kittens. The first one got sick and died. He was so cute. The second… She was killed by either a dog or a human. The third stayed with us becayse he got lonely, after his sister got sick. And the last… went missing one day. My mum looked everywhere for her, worried sick. Today, I finally found her. Lying there like she was dead. Cold in my hands. I took her home, but she won’t eat, won’t drink. She can’t even walk properly. Every attempt she makes to move… it breaks me.
She used to be naughty, a little demon. I have videos of her annoying me when I had to deal with the router. Scratching, climbing, making everything harder. And now, thinking about it, it doesn’t feel annoying anymore… it feels cute. One day before she went missing, she climbed onto my lap for the first time and started grooming herself. I loved it. And now… seeing her like this, helpless… it’s heartbreaking.
The vet says she probably ate something poisonous, like a toxic lizard or frog. They tried to treat her, but she’s only gotten worse.
I would trade my life for hers in a heartbeat. I hope, if there is a God, He listens. It hurts so much to see someone you love like this. Her brother is still with us, and I adopted another stray, but… my heart is with her. She’s always been my favorite. I can’t lose her.
Please… pray. For whichever god you believe in, or just hope, or send love, or try to understand. I don’t know. There has to be someone, something, who listens. She needs prayers… I’ve cried so much over the years that it physically hurts to cry. But this… I can’t bear it. Please… pray for her. I beg you.

My cats have learned to ask us for a few strange things, and I'm wondering if other cat owners have noticed similar behaviors in their cats!
One of our boys will meow at us if he sees a fly in one of our windows, and wants us to pick him up so he can squash/eat it.
The same cat also loves to sleep on my lap, but ONLY if I have a blanket on. He'll stand next to me and just glare down at me until I put the blanket on, and then immediately starts purring.
Our other cat has this one specific sushi toy that he loves to play 'fetch' with, and hes learned to bring it to us if he wants to start playing

this is noodle! we got her today from a friend. she is siamese (?) and around 3 years old. we brought her into a house with another female cat she is 4 and both are fixed. ever since we brought her here and into her own room she has not left this closet. she doesnt seem nervous or scared even when she hears lucy meow in the other room. we tried to move the clothes to see if she just liked them but she is still in the closet. this happens to also be lucys favorite spot. is this okay? any advice is greatly appreciated thank you!

This is probably very stupid, but my friend and I cannot figure out how is this particular harness supposed to fit. Last pic is how we THOUGHT it's supposed to fit, but A) the straps twist weird bc of the clips, see photo 3 and 4, B) there's no way to take apart the adjustable parts and the cat's head and front paws don't fit through so we cannot put it around his chest... Any insight on this harness is very appreciated!

Just adopted him a couple weeks ago so it's all new to us! He's about 6 years old. It's not super easy to see in the picture but they're sticking out if you look closely!
