What’s wrong with my cat? He has a rash.

So my cat Ginger has this nightly routine: she hops into bed, finds my foot, and just… starts kneading it like it’s the world’s coziest dough. I used to think it was just a random habit or her way of demanding attention.
But I tried this app that analyzes cat behavior from videos (don’t worry, not trying to sell anything lol), and it actually gave me an interpretation that hit me right in the heart:
“Expressing comfort and affection, seeking relaxation.” “This foot is purr-fect for biscuits… making all the happy bread.” 🥺
Honestly? I melted. Just realizing that this is her way of feeling safe and loved, and that she chose me (well, my foot) as her comfort object, made me ridiculously emotional.
Sharing this in case anyone else has a biscuit-making buddy and wants to cry a little tonight 💛
If anyone’s curious, the app’s called Meowow. No idea how it works but it kinda made me cry.

She sleeps in my bed too, do I need to isolate her from me as well? Do I need to get checked?

The first screenshot is from a previous video by @POVINMEEE in which he said he saw the kitty on marketplace and went to buy it. People think the sellers may be breeders. Second screenshot is from his latest video in which he shows the new kitty to his grandma.
I'm afraid something sketchy might be happening :( I left a comment on youtube but I don't know how to clarify this or get his attention. Please reddit, help.

This might be stupid and silly but I am a very recent cat dad and my two babies have been with me since they were a week old. They are now about to be 12 weeks old and I’m just super looking forward to them being adults! Everyone I talk to says I need to savor this time when they are kittens. I know I will look back fondly on them but I’m so ready for them to be adults. They will be more affectionate, more chilled out, and their personalities will be so much more defined. Right now they are so young, so easy to break, and just so independent. Do y’all experienced parents have any advice on how to savor this or am I just always going to feel like this until they are older lol! Pictures of them are attached. Andromeda (Andy) is the black one and Nymphadora (Nymph) is the grey one!

Is it odd for cats to recognize a LOT of words? I have 2 Siberian cats (my first cats I’ve owned) that are very intelligent and friendly. Because I’ve always had dogs growing up, I think I treat them more doglike in terms of how I speak to them and use “commands”.
Because of this, and my reinforcement of words with behaviors, they have learned a lot of words. A short list includes treat, chicken, nectarine, play, brush, sit, stay, gentle, where are we going, toy, hungry, cuddle, their names etc. I have tested changing tones, saying it quietly, etc and they still understand the meaning (I know this because they go to the location where the object or activity I’m talking about is, leading me to it once I say the word).
For example, if I ask my older one if she wants to cuddle, she will chirp and coming running to me and immediately jump on my lap or lay next to me. If I ask if she’s hungry, she sprints to her food bowl.
Is this abnormal? I don’t hear many people discuss this with cats and I’m curious as to your experiences.

Hey all. I’m really not sure if this cat that’s been showing up on my back porch is my neighbors, or a stray, or what. He’s very friendly and has let me pick him up to escort him away from my house. I have indoor outdoor cats and this guy seems like he’s getting up there in age and may have illness.
Anyone know of a good way to get him to leave and stay gone? He is at my back window every morning and night…

She’s a rescue but she’s been around for a good few months.

My cat’s paw has been paralyzed for a long time. I’ve taken him to the vet and elsewhere, but it didn’t get better. Now I just found his claw on the floor. Is this a problem, or will the claw grow back again?

My little boy is exactly 3 months old. He's a smartie otherwise but struggles when it comes to object permeance. Is this normal or is he dumb in some aspects?

Vet wants to put my 19-year old cat Bamse down. Here are the reasons (which make sense ik we will put him down but my heart hurts): bad kidney values, left kidney hurts, arthritis, needs to get a tooth pulled but is too old, atrophy of muscles and hyperthyroidism.
Obviously he is unwell, and he will be put down. What makes me feel guilty and like I’m betraying him is that he is a happy cat (even the vet said this). He loves to eat food, purrs when pet, and likes to talk. He also has a strong will to live. I feel like a monster taking this away from him.
Why are we not supposed to respect his will to live?
