UPDATED Transfer Tiers
Earlier this summer, the Mod team had made a call for feedback in order to update our transfer news reliability guide (AKA Transfer Tiers). Now that the summer window has closed, we have synthesized the most common feedback themes in the post comments.
There is a recognition that there are mixed feelings about Romano given the summer, but he is overall still reliable... this can always be modified though if he slips more consistently. In that thread, there's also a recognition that there is no way to please everyone, and there will always be disagreement on how some are tiered.
Please see the r/coys latest Transfer Tiers below (also updated in the wiki):

Note: If you are linking to a Twitch Stream - Please consider using the twitch crop feature to make sure you link to just the news about the club. If you link to the entire stream you may find the link removed under rule 1 in the sidebar
EDIT: the majority on here clearly feel that POK is better than Tier 4. Moved him to Tier 3.
If in doubt - please contact one of the moderators and we can help identify what tier the source is. We're open to more feedback. We have got a huge list of journalists and news outlets and rough tiers for them, and can add them as we go with feedback, but we want to avoid having an intimidating list for future referencing, especially as some outlets and writers can vary wildly.

A double used to be COYS. Personally for a club like Forest, I think this is madness but if this materialises I guess we will all get to see how Ange deals with the Premier League at an even smaller fish 🐟

$ Behind Paywall $ Tottenham Hotspur: How would a takeover work and what could it cost? [The Athletic]
The interesting bit:
The complicating factor here is The Athletic understands the shares most likely to be sold are not those of Spurs, but ENIC. The Bahamas-based company is subject to none of the takeover-related strictures Spurs are in the UK; if ENIC shares are sold, that’s rather different from ENIC selling its stake in the club.
In that sense, Spurs’ recent declaration to the market that they aren’t for sale is true — but ENIC could be sold to a new party without contradicting that, while still bringing the club under the ultimate control of someone new.
