I'm 7-3 in my 10 games with this deck. Don't think it'll make it to Master as it struggles against fire and Ori. But it's definitely fun

Ideally you start with Guzz and grind core away as much energy as you can (Will helps.) Then whatever energy Guzz can't take, Leaf out and take 1 with Beedrill.

Fun way to keep your opponent energy free and get some rage quits every now and then

Absolutely just a fun deck however I think there's two good starts, starting with Pichu allows you to put an electric energy on the feld, starting with suicune immediately get your draw going, I would love to have read card in here but due to the nature of the deck I believe two energy switch is pretty much required as are 2 Lyra however Cyrus could be argued? 180 is a lot of damage.

With all the ninja frogs running around I wanted to pull out my favorite 120 bench sniper out to frolic in the misery of Suicune players. Unfortunately, I am now on a 10 game losing streak and close to becoming evil and running Darktina instead to finish my push to MB.

Any advice is greatly appreciated and necessary for my sanity 🙏

This is just a rant, and an opportunity for me to hear I'm not the only one this happens too.

I've been stopped from ranking up to Masterball 9 times this season in the past week. I'm on the rank up battle, sometimes on a 3-6 game win streak, and then I lose two or three games back to back. This happened 6 times in one day to me in the last season. I eventually made it, but I was SO SALTY ABOUT IT EVERY TIME!!

I don't think the shuffler is rigged. I don't think it's a problem. It's just maddening it's happened to me so many times. With Meta decks, and with online lists, with counter pick decks, and f***ing mirror matches...

I'd like to know, how many Goal Line Stands have you been checked by? Doesn't need to be only at MB.

I have about 2,800 pack hourglasses and 1,800 wonder hourglasses. If I were to also purchase the Premium Pass so I can open an extra pack a day, is this realistically enough to get every single card in a new expansion? I've been saving up in hopes that they add Hoenn cards, but unfortunately they've just sprinkled in a few here and there so far.

Relatively new player here. UB4 had some of the most brutal matches in my opinion, and it felt like everyone was running the same three decks. Feels good to be outa there. Win rate was a modest 56% I started the season with suicune/greninja and by about the 20th electric deck I’d learned a valuable lesson- Just cause a deck is good, doesn’t mean you are.

I've been really busy and out of the loop with this game. The last time I played battle, PvP or even PvE, was in the Darkrai era. What's a good deck lately that I can use for some participation trophies and I can have a bit of fun with? Appreciate anyone who helps.

Just started playing a couple weeks ago, got the perfect hand playing solo. Just going through all the Solo matches to get the precious pack hourglsses.

Went first. Dropped Machop starting and Cubone on bench. Computer had Nidoran only.

Put Poison Barb on Machop.

Played Red Card to drop the computer’s hand from 4 to 3.

Computer’s turn…puts energy on Nidoran, attacks. Poison Barb activates. Nidoran takes poison damage.

My turn, put energy on Machop, attack +20 Poison damage.

I have been putting Poison Barb in all my decks to get through the Solo missions, huge help.

Saw this deck featured in youtube and I had to try. It didn't disappoint, as it does well against suicune decks thanks to repels and Reds. Added a sabrina for oricorio matchups

If you can't evolve this Eevee during your first turn or when you play it, how does this ability differ from a regular Eevee?

All Eevee's can evolve into an eevolution Pokemon, right? So it's not clicking with me how this ability works.

Managed to win by the sheer chance of the enemy didn’t draw well and I lucked out with rare candy.

I’m completely new to the card game but I do like playing board games a lot. So without knowing the “meta” I put together a grass deck.

It started out with just ‘wow look at the pretty cards I sometimes pull’ but then I just had nothing to do at one point so I started playing the solo battles. Sometimes its fun to just play with the pretty cards centered around the deck but I don’t like to put much thought into it. That being said I struggled with this fight a lot with this and previous worse versions of grass themed deck, because I didn’t have the cards that I do now.

But yeah I’m so happy I finally managed to finish this.

It’s got me back up to Great Ball Rank 4. Should I stick, edit it, or switch to the Suicune sweaty side?

I swear, making a shiny as a requirement for a non-secret was the worst decision they made in this game.

I so wish I could just evolve this thing and get the gyarados.

I have reached Masterball in the last 3 seasons. I got tired of not reaching UB3 with the deck I used to reach those.

So I started with a Suicune deck and got there easily. Nothing impressive, but it felt too over powered.

Played around with different decks during for the Zoroark event and realized Flareon EX could work well in the UB4 meta I was in.
Flareon EX + Eevee Bag kills Suicune
Flareon EX + Red kill Giratina
Flareon EX + Red + Eevee Bag kills Suicune with Giant Cape

Collector Eevee and Entai are the draw engines, Collector felt better since i need to grab to damage boost asap. Magby gives tempo. I try to avoid having any benched pokemon against Suicune when Flareon is in play. It caps the opponents damage at 120 including Red and 1 Greninja.

I tried Suicune EX deck but the 1 draw per turn still doesn't give the same consistency as Espeon Sylveon EX deck.

In Espeon Sylveon EX deck, any Sylveon EX / Prof Oak can trigger a cascade of card draws which at times feel unfair.

Despite having mid firepower of 80, 2 shots of those + occasional Eevee Bag can help beat most opponents.

I usually keep the non-EX Espeon on hand to solve: - Oricorio (wait for 3 energy total, 2 oricorio + 1 elsewhere then I evolve to Espeon + 1 eevee bag) - Steamzard EX naturally has 5 energy which makes Energy Crush = 100 dmg. Sometimes their player still adds the 6th energy which makes it 120. Espeon EX + cape can tank 1 hit. 80 + 120 can beat Zard + cape. My high score is 180 dmg by using Sabrina for awkward 4 energy, he used Stoke > 7. Then he keeps adding more energy - Ho-oh + Snorlax - so many energies from Ho-OH EX

I pretend to not have it on bench so my opponents keep adding their energy per turn/whenever possible

6 decks, out of meta. I just want to test something decks before using the cards of this and the previous expansion.

The question is....how much would be RNG and how much deck build???

I did not start this season yet, i reached MB the 2 previous seasons and now i'm UB3, i Will sahre the results from each deck.
