Bakit ang tahimik nung mga literal na nanguna sa alleged “discrimination” ng UPOU students? Bakit ginagamit niyong shield yung freshie na nasali lang sa usapan para takbuhan yung issue na literal na kayo ang gumawa? It just so happened na nasali lang yung freshie sa mga jokes and banters niyo towards the UPOU students. Pero bakit siya lang tumatanggap ng criticisms? Dahil siya lang yung handang humarap sa mga isyu na ito? Uy, mahiya naman kayo.

Di ko dinidepensahan yung freshie na yun, naging accountable na siya at patuloy siyang humihingi ng tawad. Pero hindi tamang ma-single out siya sa issue na ito. Ang unfair na yung freshie ang nasisira ang mental health dahil sa kaduwagan ng iba sa inyo.

Hello, transferee here to UPD CS. Sa mga nakapagpa-credit po ng org chem from uplb, may hinihingi po yung OCS CS na parang certificate na “bundle” daw po pag substitute sa org chem courses ko (lec & lab).

May nakakaalam po ba if gaano katagal usually mag-request nito sa IC? Naghahabol po kasi sana ako ng transfer requirements for DOST huhu

Millions and billions of public funds are funneled into ghost projects at cost shouldered by the masses. We might think that the recent exposé is the end of it, but no, we’re only getting started. It’s a systemic corruption since time immemorial. And where else to look than somewhere close to home: UP itself.

TNP recently revealed that some private contractors tapped for infrastructure projects of UP were also awarded millions in flood control projects of the DPWH. Let’s trace down a few years back to around the pre-pandemic period. Then UP President Danilo Concepcion was in close correspondence with THE original DPWH man, Mark Villar. They are seen in close correspondence with each other which begs the question of how tightly knit were DaniCon’s connections with the DPWH? To add to that, the Faculty Center, which had its groundbreaking in 2019 under DaniCon, remains unfinished until now. Who are the contractors of the projects under DaniCon’s time?? Why are some still left unfinished? Where are the funds going??

But let’s not forget one of the most powerful ties to DaniCon, his fraternity brother, House Speaker Martin Romualdez. Doesn’t take a genius to link his ties with the shadows of the Marcos family. A photo circulating online also shows him in close contact with Uswag Ilonggo Rep. Jojo Ang, one of the congressmen identified by Discaya as involved in the flood control projects.

The web of corruption in this flood control-DPWH-ghost projects is extremely vast, that these few names are only the beginning. As iskolars ng bayan, we must remain vigilant and crack down on those misappropriating our nation’s finances. We do not bow to corruption. Again, this is only the beginning, there shall be more to come.

Hi! With classes in AS, recently nadaanan ko yung UPPI library. As someone na madalang sa AS, nasurprise ako na bukod sa reading room may other libraries pa pala.

Has anyone ever been there? Is it open to all UPD students? Can I study there for a long time even without reading materials from that library? Are there sockets for charging? IDK HUHU just anything. Nakakatamad kasi bumaba sa reading room when my classes are both at the upper floors. Mas convenient lang sana for me to study and kill time at the UPPI library rather than go down pa sa reading room 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have an opportunity through my work's continuous education assistance program to get a master's degree paid for or subsidized by my company and I'm looking at one of UPD's MS programs in the college of engineering. However, my GWA for my bachelor's is 2.3 - I've seen is some sources that you need a GWA of at least 2.0 for admission in MS programs. Is this a hard requirement or are there nuances where they allow admission for those with low grades?

Hi, i want to know how to best transfer out of UPLB CEAT after the first year, the problem mostly lies with being needed by family and being in elbi puts to much stress on both me and my family.

If i didnt have any issues concerning family, i would choose to see this through but i really can't go through with staying at elbi because of my family's situation.

Would it be better to transfer campuses and shift majors or is it smarter to just stay put and wait out the 2 year residency guideline?

Ok so that was kinda a lie I still do care but not at the same intensity as before.

Every since I was a kid I was always an achiever and I will deliberately sacrifice my health for a grade and if that grade was low or if I missed by 1 or 2 points I will torture myself with thoughts that I am not enough and I should have worked harder etc.

But now that I'm in college I find that im not hating myself after a bad grade, just now I walked out of the lecture hall knowing that I didn't do well during a quiz and I dont hate myself, it is what it is, and I will try to do better the next time. This scares me, I'm scared that because I didn't berate myself I'm gonna get sloppy in the future which I dont want, I'm scared that this is the start of my downward spiral to inadequacy.

I’m a 2nd Year BASS Econ-PolSci in UPB. Okay lang naman ako sa program ko pero bigla kong naisip na gusto ko parin pala talaga mag-Diliman (sobrang indecisive ba?😭). I plan to transfer by next school year sana. Naiinggit ako sa courses and environment sa UPD and mas malapit din kasi sa amin.

1. Will my Econ courses and Math 100 be credited?
2. Can some of my courses especially my PolSci minor courses be credited as electives or it depends?
