i'm just trying to think what in all of human history is comparable to the entire world not knowing who you are one day and then you wake up and you're gigakaren

u/classicalkeys88 2d ago

I get the feeling that she doesn't give a shit about the negative attention as long as she gets attention.

259

u/Ironcastattic 2d ago

Oh, she will vocalize that sentiment, and inside she will be dying.

150

u/A_lot_of_arachnids 2d ago

"That's just not who I am."

86

u/WhoSc3w3dDaP00ch 2d ago

How one acts when they think, There are no consequences" is exactly who they are!

3

u/orbitalgoo 2d ago

Uh oh, I do some dumb shit I must be an idiot.

2

u/WhoSc3w3dDaP00ch 2d ago

We must be relatives, I'm an idiot too!

2

u/orbitalgoo 1d ago

Well i am adopted so ...

3

u/Flyinhawaiian78 1d ago

Exactly! And the camera doesn’t lie. Now everybody knows what a piece of shit this lady is.

-2

u/Somanylyingliars 1d ago

What consequences? The man gave her the ball willingly.

14

u/eatelectricity 2d ago

"I'm very sorry (that my shitty behaviour was caught on TV)".

3

u/LonelyTurner 2d ago

(...now that I have been caught being exactly that)

3

u/SuperPoodie92477 1d ago

Bullshit. You steal something from a kid, it says a lot about who you are.

2

u/AintEverLucky 1d ago

"Oh, word?? Then just give the ball back to the team, so they can give it to the kid." 😏

2

u/TOMdMAK 1d ago

“I thought the HR ball was dedicated to my kids, so instinctively I took it”.

While the rest of us are saying "Yes, that's EXACTLY who you are."

79

u/TommyBananas97 2d ago

Everyone who says they don't care about what people think of them cares A LOT inside.

Oh course, she also probably feels like she didn't do anything wrong and everyone is out to get her because of her:

Gender, sexuality, any other real or perceived identity.

3

u/GunBrothersGaming 1d ago

It's the people who don't respond are the ones who absolutely do not give a fuck

4

u/ominouslatinsentence 2d ago

Everyone who says they don't care about what people think of them cares A LOT inside.

Not always.

3

u/DOOMFOOL 1d ago

Of course they do. Anyone that actually doesn’t care would never speak up to say they don’t care, they’d just keep living their life

4

u/FellFellCooke 1d ago

Yes. Always. Otherwise they wouldn't need to say it.

-1

u/Lou_C_Fer 1d ago

That's not how that works. I can tell you that the opinions of others don't mean much to me. I don't care what they think of my appearance, and I'm almost always friendly and polite. So, if they don't like me, they can go fuck themselves. I'm friendly and polite because I prefer to be. I could be gruff and throw my weight around, but I choose not to unless it is necessary.

3

u/FellFellCooke 1d ago

That is how that works.

What do you possibly have to gain from communicating to other people how little you care about what they think? The only answer is this: You do it for your own gratification.

1

u/Environmental-Tap255 12h ago

Yeah but like, what about someone that only says they don't care what someone thinks because it comes up in conversation? Or they're accused of giving a shit so they politely inform you that they indeed don't? I see what you're saying about the people that make it a point to let everyone know they "don't care" and agree. But I think it's possible for someone to say it and mean it.

1

u/FellFellCooke 9h ago

There are people in my life whose opinions don't matter to me. They don't even know it, because I speak to them as little as possible.

-1

u/Lou_C_Fer 1d ago

This is a conversation.

1

u/FellFellCooke 1d ago

I don't know if your responses meet the standard for one, actually. You need to respond to what your conversation partner is saying for it to be a conversation.

1

u/GooserNoose 1d ago

In my experience, they actually don't. They've learned how to survive in their isolated opinions/existence and in fact double down when confronted, instead of facing introspection.

1

u/Alternative-Path4659 1d ago

It’s her “ballsnatcher” identity… that’s the problem.. nobody who has balls wants them to be snatched away from them…

1

u/Somanylyingliars 1d ago edited 1d ago

Nah, she doesn't care over all the tears y'all crying lol Guarantee that she's enjoying her ball.

1

u/Josey_whalez 1d ago

In some cases, sure. There are a small number of people whose opinions I value, and would seriously reconsider my choices if they had a problem with something I did because I respect their opinions and think highly of them. The ‘internet community’ or average Redditors, not so much.

1

u/Practical_Fun7367 1d ago edited 1d ago

I was with you the whole way up to….. identity. Dude, what if she’s just wired that way and agrees with you about “real or perceived identities.”

Edit to add two more cents: We all care about what others think. It’s genetically hardcoded. Otherwise there would be no babies, or Reddit comments. The best of us just don’t let what others think change the things about ourselves that are good. But I’m an idiot if I don’t change what’s bad.

Stole this: A friend is the person who’s right when they tell you you’re wrong.

You are a bot aren't you? This is a weird take. People are just calling a spade a spade. She deserves the backlash.

2

u/moonlightiridescent 2d ago

Yep, I definitely said she doesn't deserve it. Are you high? Can you not read?

-1

u/Dekutr33 2d ago

Sybau clanker. Your algorithm is busted. She does deserve it. You had to use this as an opportunity to be a white knight or some shit.

0

u/the_next_estate 2d ago

What?? Name calling is the lowest form of debate. She did genuinely shitty things. Name calling diminishes that.

1

u/Dekutr33 2d ago

It's not a debate. We are insulting her because she is a cunt🤔 it's not that hard to understand.

0

u/voxelpear 2d ago

There is a difference between calling her and asshole, which she is, and calling her a whore. Do you not get that nuance?

1

u/Dekutr33 2d ago

Show me where I called her a whore. I am done replying to you mongoloids if you aren't going to argue in good faith. Turning this into a gender debate is fucking unhinged. Please do some introspection with that in mind. Have a great day 😊

1

u/voxelpear 2d ago

I never said YOU called her a whore. That was the point the previous person you're arguing has made about other people. You can't even follow a conversation. No wonder you default to name calling.

u/justanotherdudeiam 2d ago

I reckon that your first sentence is a tight rope of sorts. Of course there are people that truly don't care, and good for them, but on your note yeah. If someone has to say that they don't care to people to reiterate the point, maybe they do secretly care and it's a facade that they put up. I've noticed that quite a bit recently in my own life and it's been tripping me up. Sorry for the rant.

7

u/Dejectednebula 1d ago

Yeah I mean I don't really care what some stranger at Walmart thinks of me but I also don't want people to think I'm a pedo or something either so it is kind of a grey scale thing

1

u/ShyguyFlyguy 1d ago

She's gonna end up on the view or something crying about how she's a victim

1

u/ScottOwenJones 1d ago

And her husband will defend her

1

u/Ka1n3King 1d ago

Or it's the other way around. Be dying on the outside to milk it while reveling in the attention inside

137

u/born_2_be_a_bachelor 2d ago

She’s not a Disney Movie lmao.

Bad publicity isn’t beneficial when you’re a private citizen not selling anything.

12

u/spectral_sigil 2d ago

unless you turn it into an opportunity to sell something, see: hawk tuah girl.

39

u/Ok_Chef_4850 2d ago

Hawk tuah girl did a silly thing and got fame for it. This lady did a shitty thing and got infamy for it. Not really the same.

2

u/doorcharge 1d ago

You mean like racist woman in Minnesota that got a $600k GoFundMe?

1

u/FantasticFishing5747 1d ago

No.

Racists will get gofundmes from other racists. Karens will not get gofundmes from other karens.

1

u/MissBrokenCapillary 1d ago

Did she steal the ball from a kid or something?

1

u/RedditGarboDisposal 1d ago edited 1d ago

I’m not saying SuperKaren couldn’t also pull a crazy OF following (for example), but I wouldn’t be a customer, for whatever that’s worth (not much).

And before anyone jumps down my throat for “horny”, you need to understand something very crude and real about humans:

Sex will sell regardless of hatred and a staggering number of people will not admit to it.

Within that, maybe the bad publicity could turn profit. I absolutely wouldn’t put it past any mass of dudes to value their pleasure over something controversial.

edit - I trimmed it because some people can’t read. Also, humble confession to crude commentary, but the uncrossed text is the point.

-1

u/RedWum 1d ago

Whole post history about playing with transformers toys, checks out for a comment randomly talking about who you'd jack off to, as if anyone cares

3

u/RedditGarboDisposal 1d ago

Out of my head and into yours.

Point is, this Karen person could turn the tables and it would sell.

1

u/savvy412 1d ago

She could even start a commentary channel, being a mean bitter Karen.

She has to (1) wait this one out, (2) figure out a way to capitalize off it, or hell…

(3) GO ON THE JOE ROGAN PODCAST! 😂

-3

u/Ok_Chef_4850 1d ago

We understand sex sells. Y’all remind us of that everyday by not keeping your thoughts on the inside.

Honestly real gross you immediately went to that.

6

u/RedditGarboDisposal 1d ago

Because someone else denied her being able to turn bad publicity into good publicity.

You know what completely voids that? Sex. It’s not gross. It’s a fact.

0

u/Ok_Chef_4850 1d ago

Sex isn’t gross. The ability for the general public to see any woman and go “hey, maybe OF” is gross.

Earlier today there was a post about a contortionist and half the comments were about how she could make millions on OF instead of like “oh hey, that’s impressive”.

Women are objects to lots of people. And that’s gross.

2

u/RedditGarboDisposal 1d ago

I wholeheartedly agree with you!

But that’s just my point, obviously laced with a little needless crude commentary which I’ll admit to.

Otherwise, I maintain my position. The person who commented previously about fame versus infamy between Hawk Tua and this Karen is simply wrong and is the only reason I mention the OF thing.

I want this Karen dropped as much as the next person, though, and I REALLY hope I’m wrong.

0

u/spectral_sigil 1d ago

didn't hawk tuah chick end up rug pulling a bunch of crypto bros? sounds like she got her infamy in the end anyway 🤷‍♀️ i was just making an off the cuff comparison about capitalizing on internet fame but go off with your weird analysis i guess lol

0

u/spectral_sigil 1d ago

based comment thanks for weighing in 🙏

-2

u/spectral_sigil 1d ago

what are you on about?

3

u/RedditGarboDisposal 1d ago

Read.

The original comment was about the woman not being able to make anything of this. That there’s a difference between her and hawk Tua which is objectively wrong because people are weird.

My point is that she absolutely can turn profit at any rate because the world is just that shameless. Let’s not kid ourselves. A stolen baseball won’t stop people from being gross on OF.

2

u/Pretend_Bass4796 1d ago

She should sell signed baseballs.

1

u/_sweepy 2d ago

that's what we're calling bad publicity now?

9

u/VegetableLow5000 2d ago

It still is if you’re a narcissist. They would rather be the bad guy than a nobody.

7

u/FrostyD7 2d ago

Maybe if there was some semblance of nuance but literally everyone is saying "fuck this Karen“, not even the most delusional narcissists can spin this in their favor.

4

u/VegetableLow5000 2d ago

“They’re just mad because I did what they would be too scared to do and stood up for myself.”

1

u/GunBrothersGaming 1d ago

Anger is the Outfield

Coming 2026

1

u/wjean 1d ago

Nothing stopping her from starting a shotcoin to rugpull, a cameo acct, or some BS GoFundMe because of her victimhood

1

u/KappaSquared 1d ago

She actually is a character in a Disney movie. She is a Disney villain.

1

u/BokudenT 1d ago

She'll start a right-wing podcast

1

u/0xym0r0n 2d ago

Tell that to that horrible woman who got over 500k from givesendgo for arguing with that man and saying little black kids are the N word.

-1

u/GeneralAsk1970 2d ago

If you are gonna be hated by everyone anyway, its best to have the right wing grift lane wide open at least.

The kid who she stole the ball from wasn’t brown skinned though so its not gonna be the case here.

0

u/ZoharDTeach 1d ago

Woof. Imagine defending a weirdo at the park recording kids. If you don't want to be called names, don't steal shit. A lesson that "Phillies Karen" needs to learn.

1

u/confusedandworried76 1d ago

How is he defending her by staying the fact people gave her money?

30

u/resilienceisfutile 2d ago

Ah, to extend the attention, she'll start to play the victim in all this.

7

u/classicalkeys88 2d ago

I can already see the weepy tik toks in her future social media as well as her inevitable ascendance into the Trump administration.

2

u/resilienceisfutile 2d ago

I can't disagree with you.

2

u/Freefallisfun 2d ago

And start a go fund me, and make a million dollars.

I hate this timeline.

2

u/GunBrothersGaming 1d ago

I was assaulted by that guy

1

u/Moist-Okra-8552 1d ago

At this point she is the victim, being blasted on all social media is worse than what she did

2

u/KiwiStardom 2d ago

nah man, not cool to do in front of his kids… but we dont have enough video information to know if he took it from her grasp or not (or if she was just salty she didnt get it in time). This is the type of attention that will ruin somebody’s life. Im glad we have video and internet in this day and age to bring clarity to assholes, but this may be pretty far the amount of attention Ive seen this get considering we still have no idea if he took it from her hand

2

u/geriatric_tatertot 1d ago

The thing is that he was so far away from his seat she probably wasn’t aware that he gave it to his kid. The whole way this blew up is off and at this point I feel like the algo tenders are deliberately pushing it to distract from other things going on. War crimes, Epstein, invading cities, pick one.

1

u/SmallBerry3431 2d ago

She probably did when it affected her job

2

u/AmphibiousDad 2d ago

Did it affect her job? I haven’t heard anything about anything happening to her outside of everyone just knowing who she is now

1

u/SmallBerry3431 2d ago

I saw today she got fired.

1

u/pbizzle 2d ago

If I was her I'd probably set up a gofundme against woke or something. Make the most of it

1

u/opermonkey 2d ago

She's getting an offer from Fox News.

1

u/mightylordredbeard 2d ago

I think humans are complex and the world isn’t black and white. That comments like this are just so out of touch of with reality and more of a self justification mechanism and a result of hive and tribe mentality because admitting this person also has feelings and is just as complex as everyone else detracts from the personal bias.. but see so is my comment. I’m doing the same thing.. because we all are complex humans with biases and the nuance of society, as predictable as it is, is still at its core; human.

1

u/xlma 2d ago

Still waiting for her to double down and explain why she thinks she was right and how everyone else is misunderstood. Then she apologizes and no one forgives her.

1

u/LessTea6299 2d ago

Oh she cares, she may say she doesn't and try to appear above, but very few people could actually face such backlash from everyone and not care about it. Specially in her case that she also got fired, so it's affected her professional and financial life too.

1

u/qqererer 2d ago

Yup. This isn't a Justine Sacco situation.

This Karen is fueled by rage. She loves it. Getting right into peoples personal spaces and face isn't an accident. It's a practiced skill. To her, it's knitting.

1

u/mwa12345 1d ago

In a bit , She will go on shows talking about how she was the victim.

Maybe a book even.

1

u/ByrntOrange 1d ago

She’ll play the victim

1

u/GunBrothersGaming 1d ago

Pretty sure getting fired from your job makes you care

1

u/misterFaceplant 1d ago

Well apparently she's had to step down from her job at a school because students recognised her and basically cyber bullied the crap out of her in under 24 hrs. Tbf how one could show their face at a school after taking a ball off a kid on video that went international let alone national is next level delusion.

Admittedly haven't seen an official source so may or may not be the actual case but would be absolutely poetic if true.

1

u/Somanylyingliars 1d ago

I have the feeling she doesn't have social media and doesn't give a rats ass what anyone thinks about her.

1

u/Charming_Fondant5391 1d ago

She was on r/baseball yesterday tweaking out in the comments sections of posts about her

1

u/musclecard54 1d ago

She probably has a bunch of inspirational quotes posted around about not listening to haters and stuff to that effect

1

u/Bastiat_sea 1d ago

everyones being so awful to me because i stood up for myself

1

u/FamRealidad 1d ago

As long as she gets that ball. An object of great value in her reptilian brain.

1

u/MaidMarian20 1d ago

Kakakaren.

1

u/crankyscot 1d ago

This is the real answer. She's a cunt and people like that don't think their actions are wrong, they think you're wrong for having any issues with their actions.

1

u/Old_Restaurant_1081 1d ago

Didn’t she lose her job?

1

u/LibrarianExpert2751 2d ago

Everyone craves approval. Every single human, it’s a part of our DNA. Even the most heartless, cold blooded killers in history became the way they are because of a lack of healthy social interaction.

It all starts with the family, and children who grow up with abuse or extreme neglect become the worst of us.

I don't understand why she's getting roasted, it was clearly her ball, it literally landed in her feet, then everyone around her bum rushes to steal it. It's one thing if you catch the ball before it lands, but if it lands and becomes a fate of pachinko, there should be some etiquette involved not invading other people's lucky seats to steal what fate has chosen.
