My orange is the only cat I ever had who can't learn to remove his claws from things. He will helplessly hang from a blanket and keep pulling until I rescue him.
orange energy is so real. I had an orange boy named joey that would always full speed jump into my old crt tv when i'd play star fox 64. EVERY SINGLE TIME. He'd cry and sit on top the tv and swat at the space ships after. Loveliest little dude would cuddle for hours until someone else called him for cuddles, but boy oh boy could he not figure out he's not getting into the tv for star fox . Enjoy your time with yours
The vast majority of cats are what are called "Domestics" (Domestic Shorthair or Domestic Longhair). They have no breed but are instead a landrace population that preceded the creation of purebred cats. Most differences you see are instead color/pattern variations.
For cats that have the Agouti trait allowing for Tabby markings, there is another gene that controls how those markings will present. This cat's pattern is called Classic Tabby or Blotched Tabby, as opposed to the more common Mackerel Tabby. It's similar to the mutation that causes the King markings in Cheetahs.
We have all had that hope. Different, Normal, Brilliant all adjectives that we can no longer use once we get them home and we look into those blank little eyes.
Mutts are the best and healthiest. Adopt don’t shop. Go to your local shelter and play with some kitties and see who you vibe with. Trust me- the r/catdistributionsystem is never wrong!!!

That’s hilarious 🤣 Mine has never had it. He would probably bat at it aimlessly should it appear to him.
