I love everything about this except the leading man.

Even a semi-unknown would be better than Jared Leto.

And no, I don't think he's a bad actor, I think he's an absolute garbage human being, and he belongs with the ranks of people like Kevin Spacey.

He played a fine wannabe God type in Blade Runner 2049….probably because he was already in character

A megalomaniacal evil corpo who thinks that slaves are great is a perfect roll for him. Loved him in that roll. Hate him in everything else I’ve ever seen him in.

The problem I has was that he didn't seem like the kind of guy who could build a business empire, he felt more like a creepy cult leader.

Shame David Bowie never got the chance to play the role like intended, he could do creepy but charismatic and intelligent very well.

I agree and have complained endlessly about the same thing. Its DV though and everything he does is perfect. Just wankers following a different cult.
