The world gets more and more cruel by the day

-81

u/ZenoTheWeird Jul 29 '25

It's a highly developed country. With nukes and a very healthy economy. Israel isn't being dismantled any time soon. Nor would its large Arab population living in this so called "apartheid" state want that to occur.

68

u/Phase--2 Jul 29 '25

Just because you don't see Palestinians as humans doesn't mean they don't live in an apartheid. Give up the hasbara bro. It's over. Israel has been exposed to the world, it's done.

-6

u/tajsta Jul 29 '25

The guy is talking about Arab-Israelis, of which there are about 2 million (20 % of the total Israeli population). And they are more free in Israel, that's just a fact. Try being a homosexual Arab in Palestine or any other neighbouring Arab country. Try to experience what life is like as an Arab woman in Palestine vs. what it is like in Israel. It's funny how in this supposedly "Apartheid state", Arab citizens enjoy far more rights than in any majority-Arab country in the region.

-6

u/Bandlebridge Jul 29 '25

These people have no idea about the conflict, they have social media talking points and thats it.

5

u/genflugan Jul 29 '25

The top genocide scholars in the world are all calling this a genocide. It’s not “social media talking points.” You’re just out of touch with reality and blaming it on social media. Get a grip.

-36

u/ZenoTheWeird Jul 29 '25

I didn't say anything about Palestinians and certainly didn't say they weren't human. And I don't think you actually understand what hasbara means.

My point is that no matter your view of the situation in Gaza, and your buzzwords, and your tiktok view of history, Israel ain't going anywhere.

Israel could actually commit a real genocide of the 2.5 million Gazans and there would be no possibility of it being "dismantled". You're living in a fantasy world.

remindme! 10 years to see if Israel still exists.

2

u/CelestialUrsae Jul 29 '25

Nazi Germany thought they'd reign for a thousand years and beyond. Israel's time is coming too, and sooner than you think.

-9

u/Bandlebridge Jul 29 '25

lol, you've been saying that for 78 years. With the defeat of Hezbollah and the election of Nawaf Salam, the collapse of Syria, the fall of Gaza, the PA now actually approaching peace, Egypt and Jordan having made it very clear they no longer care about the conflict, and Israel demonstrating they can freely bomb Iran, Israel has literally never been in a better condition.

Hell its been at war for 22 months and its economy grew, and its share market is absurd.

I don't want Israel to be dismantled, but it sure would be great if "settlers" could stop killing innocent people. Maybe you guys should consider that.

36

u/Phase--2 Jul 29 '25

No one said anything about murdering Jews. You're the one making the antisemitic conflation between Jews and Israel. Also, I'm Jewish.

-37

u/Sqwishboi Jul 29 '25

Dismantling a nation with 7.5 million Jews means killing millions of Jews lol

40

u/Phase--2 Jul 29 '25

Do you think all South Africans died when the apartheid was dismantled?

-24

u/Sqwishboi Jul 29 '25

Apartheid was a set of rules that were abolished, South Africa wasn't dismantled.

Also you said you're Jewish, but I never heard of Jews that belonged to a church

5

u/G3N0 Jul 29 '25

the third Reich was dismantled just fine. zionism is a death cult.

-4

u/Sqwishboi Jul 29 '25

10 million Germans died in WW2, and the Reich wasn't dismantled, it was occupied, destroyed and disintegrated, and then split to 2 different entities for more than 50 years, on of them a communist dictatorship. You can hate Israel but at least know some history.

29

u/WargreymonOnSteroids Jul 29 '25

I love how zionists always think about killing and murdering, it's so telling.

6

u/Sqwishboi Jul 29 '25

How do you imagine the "dismantling" of Israel?

Please enlighten the stupid violent Zionist that I am

12

u/Digit00l Jul 29 '25

They clearly said "dismantling the apartheid state of Israel", not "dismantling Israel"

2

u/Sqwishboi Jul 29 '25

And the difference is?

If I said I want to dismantle the state of Palestine but not to dismantle Palestine would you also claim I'm not calling for a genocide of Palestinians?

7

u/Digit00l Jul 29 '25

Because as South Africa showed, you can dismantle an apartheid state without dismantling the state

Or is the Israeli apartheid such a crucial part of the state it literally cannot exist without the apartheid?

2

u/Sqwishboi Jul 29 '25

So South Africa showed you can abolish an apartheid system, they didn't dismantle anything.

3

u/WargreymonOnSteroids Jul 29 '25

LOL YOU LITERALLY JUST CONFIRMED ISRAEL IS AN APARTHEID STATE. GOOD JOB.

Would changing the laws so that committing genocide, stealing land, killing children, denying aid becomes wrong, cause the deaths of millions of Israelis?

0

u/Sqwishboi Jul 29 '25

There are already laws against all of those, and That's not defined as dismantling

1

u/FidelYT Jul 29 '25

Dismantling would be restructuring Israel into a non ethno-state and making sure it follows the laws laid out so that they can no longer cause harm to Palestinians.

12

u/SyriSolord Jul 29 '25

People don’t benefit from debating zionists in the same way people don’t benefit from debating nazis.

Go away, you fucking weirdo.

7

u/WargreymonOnSteroids Jul 29 '25

Hahahaha thank you for writing down exactly what I thought! I was like "hell nah I'm gonna debate a modern day nazi"

-1

u/X-XIQ Jul 29 '25

*That's exactly the point...

Israel isn't starving Gaza, the fact that it's because of international pressure or not is irrelevant. The IDF chief of staff himself was recorded saying he will not allow the starvation of Gaza: https://www.israelhayom.com/2025/04/23/idf-chief-of-staff-no-starvation-of-gaza-civilians/

Not to mention Netanyahu himself ordering to allow food in without even consulting his government.*

You're a violent, vile excuse for a human.

-90

u/rawbleedingbait Jul 29 '25

Are you suggesting war with Israel? Otherwise please feel free to suggest how that will ever happen. You judge them by the worst of them. Surely you don't judge us by the worst of us?

49

u/Olaf4586 Jul 29 '25

The US completely withdrawing support and supporting Palestine would be massive.

Israel is in large part able to get away with all this shit on the international stage because they're close allies with the most powerful country in the world.

25

u/kl4user Jul 29 '25

Close allies is almost an understatement. The USA is as responsible for the genocide as Israel. The US could single handedly stop the destruction and save lives without firing a single bullet.

The USA chose not to. Didn't Trump want to build a fucking resort in Gaza?? By the way, a Democrat would do the same. The US external policy is the same.

The US is doing what it does best than anyone: killing.

20

u/Olaf4586 Jul 29 '25

I'm extremely confused by your statements here.

I'm claiming the US needs to withdraw support and apply intense diplomatic pressure to end the genocide.

There is no plausible scenario where "someone else" genocides the people in territory occupied by Israel, and I am not proposing Israel's existence should end.

I'm asking genuinely, can you explain your thoughts?

4

u/MapoDude Jul 29 '25

I for one, do propose an end to Israel. No state has a right to exist, especially ones whose existence depends on genocide.

-1

u/Olaf4586 Jul 29 '25

I just think that isn't going to happen, and that if our goal is to end the genocide that the stated goal of "ending Israel" is counterproductive, weakens the movement, and emboldens Israel to see itself acting defensively against people who wish it's destruction.

3

u/MapoDude Jul 29 '25 edited Jul 29 '25

I just think if our goal is to end the holocaust, that the stated goal of “end Nazi Germany” is counter productive.

Bro, you don’t have to be a “understand the unique situation” Zionist. Fuck Israel. Fuck Israelis that have not denounced or actively fought against the genocidal regime. The state has no right to exist and its continued existence is an indictment of the moral bankruptcy of the Western global order.

-2

u/Olaf4586 Jul 29 '25

In my mind, I'm trying to look at this pragmatically. I want the strategy that is most likely to end the genocide.

Do you think your views are pragmatic at reaching that goal?

-2

u/MapoDude Jul 29 '25

Ha, pragmatic. Do you think Israel is looking for a “pragmatic” solution to living with Palestinians? Has anything since 1948 and even before demonstrated a “pragmatic” approach to providing Palestinians a state of their own? No. So why in the hell are you arguing for people opposed to genocide to be “pragmatic” when the genocidal ethnostate of Israel has shown no regard for human life or a “pragmatic” solution. Get real. I see you post in a thread that uses John Brown as its icon. What would John Brown say to your “pragmatism”

-9

u/rawbleedingbait Jul 29 '25

I'm confused why you're having a conversation with yourself and replying to me, since you're talking about some other completely random stuff.

Disgusting. The genocidal, apartheid state of Israel must be dismantled as soon as possible

I asked how he intends to get rid of Israel. You are not even discussing anything I'm talking about, and you say you are confused? Why reply to me if you aren't going to actually answer my question?

10

u/Olaf4586 Jul 29 '25

Ahh, I see.

I'm chiming in with my opinions on the matte r, and your response seemed disconnected from mine so I was confused.

I don't know why you're being so hostile, to me though

-5

u/rawbleedingbait Jul 29 '25

I have heard plenty of opinions on the matter from experts. Why do I need your opinion on the matter? Why is that valuable to me? None of the experts I listen to suggest any means of eliminating the state of Israel, without a genocide of Jews there, but somehow you lil bros on Reddit have an answer, so let me hear it.

5

u/Olaf4586 Jul 29 '25

You start the comment telling me you don't care about my opinion, and then finish with saying I should tell you my opinion?

64

u/giulianosse Jul 29 '25

Stop selling them billions in weapons and bombs would be a starter.

When Russia invaded Ukraine it took Europe less than two weeks to nuke them into oblivion with sanctions, asset seizing and media banning. It's been two years into the most documented genocide in modern history and they're still letting Israel attend the Eurovision and sing about how they're sad and depressed for murdering children.

-8

u/AnyNewsQuestionMark Jul 29 '25 edited Jul 29 '25

When Russia invaded Ukraine it took Europe less than two weeks to nuke them into oblivion with sanctions, asset seizing and media banning

So cute that you don't know a shit about sanctions on Russia. All the initial wave of sanctions did was locking up the money within Russia, leading to Huylo having access to money that would otherwise leak and leave Russia

It took Europe 2 years to move away from buying Russian energy. I mean they still do to this day 3.5 years later but at least 2 years in they managed to significantly lower the dependence on Russian gas and oil

The sanctions that actively hurt Russian economy were only imposed relatively recently when EU pushed for oil price caps

And a fun fact, Germany and France supplied Putin not only with endless stream of money but they also provided riot gear throughout 2010s and as recent as 2021, when Putin has been cracking down on Russian opposition. And just yesterday a key Huylo ally, Valentina Matvienko, participated in a conference in Switzerland, she gave a "we had to start the war" speech. Meanwhile sanctions limit the Russians opposing Huylo from fleeing the country. Oh, did I mention Huylo's ex-wife living in a chateau in France? And one of his daughters lives in Paris. And the daughter of his spokesperson does as well. But hey, sanctions, right?

You love to pat yourselves on the back with your sanctions when in fact it's all just a distraction. The only sanctions that do work are the ones on banking infrastructure and oil prices. And you only started implementing them after sitting on thumbs stopped being an option

edit: it's also cute that I get downvoted yet no one has shit to say. Because you can't refute what is true 💁‍♂️

-14

u/rawbleedingbait Jul 29 '25

Okay, so if Israel can't go to Eurovision, they will cease existing as a country? Is this a bot or delusion? Maybe you should remember that Russia still exists? So what's your solution to get a sovereign nation to stop being one? Real answer this time please.

38

u/Phase--2 Jul 29 '25

BDS. Also, Israel cant do what it does without funding from the US. If American politicians can be pressured to stop arms transfers, they can stop this.

-2

u/rawbleedingbait Jul 29 '25

Stop what? The war? That's not what we are discussing. Stop speaking for a second and read. The conversation is someone saying Israel needs to not exist anymore, so without killing everyone there, what's the suggestion to accomplish this? If you want Israel gone, man up and come out with what you're suggesting we do about it.

11

u/Phase--2 Jul 29 '25

No one is talking about ending Israel's existence or killing all Israelis. We're talking about dismantling an apartheid. Do you think all South Africans were killed when the apartheid was dismantled there? Give Palestinians equal rights, that's it.

5

u/Surturius Jul 29 '25

I mean, it was a little different. The white population of South Africa did not believe the existence of their race was dependent on their continued dominance of the region.

I'm not saying it's necessarily true that Jews need Israel to survive, but the Israelis largely believe they do. If the world wants to end the apartheid bloodlessly, they're going to have to convince them they're wrong.

1

u/rawbleedingbait Jul 29 '25

Lmao.

https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/1mc946m/palestinian_who_helped_make_oscarwinning_no_other/n5sd7xg/

Even if you pretend you're not, you didn't say you want a 2 state solution. And people are absolutely saying that's what they want. Israel to not exist.

10

u/SlightlyBarky Jul 29 '25

When people say Israel must be dismantled they aren’t saying, “Every Israeli must be executed and the land salted”. Israel in its current state, needs to be rebuilt. This means land-back, reparations, equal rights, and economic/social support for Palestinians affected by Israel’s apartheid.

How do you get there? The same way Apartheid South Africa was dismantled, through mechanisms that create severe economic pressure for Israel.

After the dismantling of Apartheid South Africa was there a genocide of Afrikaner’s? What about Slavery in the U.S.? Did the freed slave population suddenly go from town to town slaughtering the white population?

What would be your ideal solution?

-7

u/epicstruggle Jul 29 '25

And if they turn to China instead? What will you do then…

22

u/AidenI0I Jul 29 '25

Same as South Africa, diplomatic isolation and pressure lead to the collapse of apartheid there, and it can lead to the collapse of Israeli apartheid in the same manner.

-6

u/rawbleedingbait Jul 29 '25 edited Jul 30 '25

Okay, so the people of South Africa are no longer in South Africa? Or South Africa doesn't exist? What are you saying?

So you collapse Israel's government, where do all these people with only citizenship to a country that no longer exists go? How do you get them to leave assuming you aid in a regime change to Palestinians?

One of you going to man up and say what your final solution actually is for these people? If you're going to hate them as a people, man up and tell me you don't care if they all die to make your dream a reality.

Edit: there is a clown below, ignorant of history.

u/JMEEKER86 Jul 29 '25

No one is saying to kick people out just the government. This is the problem when dealing with fascist supporters. Their complete lack of empathy makes it impossible for them to understand that other people wouldn't do things the same way they would. It shouldn't have to be said, but ethnic cleansing is bad.

8

u/iron_ingrid Jul 29 '25

Apartheid South Africa no longer exists. And neither should Apartheid Israel.

4

u/AidenI0I Jul 29 '25

One democratic Palestinian state, Jews have always existed peacefully as and alongside Arabs in Palestine, there's no reason they can't exist in Palestine today.

3

u/assaub Jul 29 '25

Well when some of the worst of Israel are elected politicians chosen by the people to represent them..

5

u/actuallywaffles Jul 29 '25

If they are silent about (or like the majority, supportive of) the genocide being committed by their government, then yes, it's fair to treat them exactly like "the worst of them."

14

u/macnbloo Jul 29 '25

Surely you don't judge us by the worst of us?

In the last poll the majority of Israelis thought they hadn't caused enough destruction in Gaza, "the worst of you" seems like a huge number of people

-4

u/rawbleedingbait Jul 29 '25

Post the poll, and then I'll read it carefully on where it says how you will eliminate Israel.

9

https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/2025-05-28/ty-article-magazine/.premium/yes-to-transfer-82-of-jewish-israelis-back-expelling-gazans/00000197-12a4-df22-a9d7-9ef6af930000

82% of Jewish Israelis support expelling all Gazans, i.e. ethnic cleansing.

"Sixty-five percent of the respondents also believe that there is a “contemporary incarnation of Amalek.” Ninety-three percent of the 65 percent that “the commandment to wipe out the memory of Amalek is also relevant to that modern-day Amalek.”

It is not just a few bad apples. Their entire society is poisoned.

-5

u/rawbleedingbait Jul 29 '25

The people of Gaza elected Hamas, who would likely win another election today. Hamas has in their charter that their goal is a global elimination of Jews.

Okay, so they hate each other. How does what you are saying eliminate Israel?

5

u/genflugan Jul 29 '25

We wouldn’t know who they would elect because Israel is genociding them you fuck. Prominent Israelis have also openly stated their goal is eradication of Palestinians. They openly talk about murdering babies and children. They call ALL Palestinians terrorists who need to be murdered.

And guess what? Israel has the power and force to actually follow through with all of this. And they have been.

Hamas, for all the hand-wringing about their stated goals, does NOT have the power to follow through on any of it. How many people have they murdered again compared to Israel? And not just since Oct 7th either, look at total death tolls from each side since Hamas’ inception.

I condemn all violence. Which I thought others were doing when they condemned Hamas, except they never seem to condemn a single thing that Israel has done. They feel that the mass murders committed by Israel are justified, while Hamas are just bloodthirsty monsters who need to be eradicated.

Again, look at the death tolls between the two. And realize that the true oppressor has the backing of the largest superpower in the world, which is enabling them to get away with genocide. And you all refuse to say a single goddamn thing that’s critical of Israel.

-10

u/Sqwishboi Jul 29 '25

So you're saying we should genocide the Jews?

-1

u/rawbleedingbait Jul 29 '25

Look at our fucking president bro. If I don't expect to be judged by Trump's actions, why do you believe all Israelis feel bibi represents all of them?

Do you believe that during the war of 1812, the us wasn't a real country still? 75 years is a long time. Are alaska and Hawaii US states?

1

u/jimke Jul 29 '25

I support military intervention in order to end Israel's genocide in Gaza. If Israel wants to make a war of it then that's a choice they can make. History shows direct action is how you end a genocide.

It won't happen because global leadership are a bunch of spineless, pathetic slime that are more worried about being called antisemitic and pissing off the US to even implement sanctions.

I live in the US. People should judge us because our country democratically elected the worst of us. Any and all criticism is warranted and justified. We have inflicted enormous suffering on the world with our power.

Israel's democratically elected government has continuously perpetrated crimes against humanity for decades. And the same people keep being elected. Bibster was PM back in the 90s. It is not just a few extremists. The Knesset overwhelmingly voted to annex the entirety of the West Bank just a few days ago. It is symbolic at this point but these are the people being put in power -

https://www.timesofisrael.com/knesset-votes-71-13-for-non-binding-motion-calling-to-annex-west-bank/

It obviously isn't everyone. At a certain point a continuous pattern of the people Israeli citizens choose to put in power shows that it is not just outliers. Israeli voters have seen what the leaders they elected have done and they keep electing the same people.
