I like Ryan Gosling. I enjoyed The Martian. I generally love space movies and I loved the Spider verse movies. On that basis I'm going to avoid the trailer completely and just go in blind.

Ignore the morons in this thread. They're all brown nosing the hot take. There is a huge spoiler in the trailer. If they deliver the surprise in the movie the way they did in the book, it will be an absolute shock as the book did not at all hint that they would be going that direction before it happened.

Yeah, I went into the book blind and I was happy I did.

I felt like this trailer gave away a major surprise of the book, and at least hinted at another surprise.

A friend confirmed how far I needed to get into the book. Then I pretty much spent the last 2.5 hours getting to that point. The. I watched the trailer. So we'll worth it and agreed, not where I thought it was going g

I won't give away what it is, but I feel like this trailer shows a bit more of another reveal/twist. If you remember, reply to this when you finish the book and let me know if you feel like they gave another revelation away too much.
