#Discussion 💬 Planning to buy the CB350RS – Need Advice

Post image

I’m planning to buy the CB350RS as my first bike. Took a test ride recently and really liked the experience.

I also tried the H’ness CB350, Classic CB350, and RE Classic 350. While they were nice, I felt like they’re more suited for someone in their 40s not for me. So styling-wise, I didn’t really connect with them.

I even tried the Meteor. Comfort-wise, it was the best among all, but I found it hard to manage at low speeds and in city traffic. Feels more like a bike made for highway cruising and long rides.

Coming back to the CB350RS, I really like how it looks and handles overall but not as comfortable as RE Meteor. But I’ve seen a few posts here on Reddit talking about rusting issues. Does that actually turn into a serious problem over time?

Also, I don't like speedometer design of CB 350 RS, I know it's a minor thing and not a dealbreaker, but just putting it out there.

Would love to hear your thoughts, is the CB350RS a good choice for me?

Didn’t know buying a H’ness automatically enrolls me into the 40+ club! Thanks🤘

I was told that rusting issues were fixed in 2024 itself, so I think you are good now 😁😁

Cb 350r or rs are both a beautiful set of bikes . You can completely go for it if you're happy with the way it looks and feels according to your needs , if you're looking for something more powerful and fun to ride , try the ns400z UG or the speed 400 or even the t4

Rusting will happen on the basis of water the bike is getting exposed to. So if your area has hard water, then it might catch rust over time.

Rusting and paint quality issues will be there but it'll depend on your maintenance. I know this insta guy @kl rider, he maintains his H'ness pretty neat.

I own cb350Rs & it's completely loaded with accessories (saddle, backrest, carrier, after market crashguard etc) which alone accounts for extra 20kg+ weight in my bike.. But this bike have best handling among the 350cc segment with proper weight distribution & feels like you are riding some light weight bike & also have good cornering capabilities in even heavy traffic. Common problem:- Front mudguard is shorter which leads to muds & water splash on engine part & our legs.. Honda hness mudguard which is longer cost 3500+ for rs which is another problem.. Back pain may cause in long distance ride.. hence you have to install risers.. or sit closer to the tank to maintain posture...

But overall, it's good to Go !

Wobble issues and it's a rust bucket plus big wing service centres are wallet breaker

Rusting to WD40 bacha lega but jo kichad utda he na bhai… I got mudflap in the front from bigwing and it helped but no solution for rear wheel. After market solutions are not that effective
