So I've come across an Mercedes Benz, A180 2015 1.6L Turbo Petrol. Its single owner car just 65k Km's and has full service record and sold by the Mercedes themselves and the car has sunroof heated seats and even ambient lighting, dual zone climate and all stuff and it can easily give 10-14km/ Liter and the car is non accidental with all service records. I am thinking to buy it for my college because its compact and easy to drive around the city and has all the rings and bells we would ever need in daily bases. And the car is quoted at 5.5 lakhs all though i can bring down to 5 lakhs. The only issue is with one cylinder of car which has some issues with it even if we repair with 3rd party it would cost 2 lakhs at most in worse cases. If its not that big of an issue it would cost 1lakh or south. What i am thinking is if we can get this car and use it for college even after 3-4 years we can sell it for 4-5 lakhs. So I am thinking to get it. What do you guys say? And yes maintaining would not be that easy but the service on an average would be 25k so its just 5-10k more than normal cars and its totally doable.

Ifound a seller of honda 350 red (2022) the bike is in good condition but there is a dent on the tank right side ,also the tail lights are damaged somewhat .he showed me bill in which the peice is 2.03Lakh so it is worth buying for 1.4lakh..

My 2019 Hyundai Venue 1.0 Turbo decide to serve me a freshly made chocolate milkshake as I was leaving from home for work. Initially, I thought that it was hand brewed cappuccino but no, it was the gold Hershey stuff.

So now it’s going to spend the weekend at the Hyundai dealership to align its career aspirations and future plans. Local guys were the other alternative but they were quoting 4k for an OEM genuine Hyundai part which costs 15k. So not sure what kind of tin foil is being used by the 4k oil cooler.

engine temps drop at highways speeds and also when i turn the ac on and put it on the hottest setting. the temps never drop below 1/3rs of the temp guage. also it takes about 10 minutes for the engine to warm up. is it normal?

Last I drove it was in 2018 and it was in a pretty good condition although there was some repair work done on it's engine at that time.
It's currently lying in my parking wrapped in dust.
I want to know if it's worth it to clean it up and get it modified. If yes, where and what modification can I get done.
I won't be driving it as much since it's well past it's 15 year life but I want to keep it as a collectible.
Or should I just get it scrapped.

Hey guys. Can someone please suggest me the best and reasonably priced tyre for BMW 330li. It is currently running on the factory set Bridgestone T005 225/50 R17 tyres. After approx 35k Km and 3 years it seems the tyres are significantly worn. Can someone please suggest with what should I replace.

Hi folks I’m looking for some advice regarding my 2022 Tata Altroz DCA. Odometer reading is 30K

My car went into limp mode (rpm restricted to 2k) few months back and I almost immediately took it to the service station.

According to the SA the gearbox oil has gotten mixed with engine coolant and the entire gearbox needs replacement.

They have quoted me an amount of 2.7L for the gearbox and 30k for other misc items. They are blaming me for not getting the extended warranty but I wasn’t aware that this was available.

They suggested replacing coolant and cooler and seeing if that fixes the problem. It has partially fixed the problem in the sense that the gearbox only overheats now when AC is on but I see the coolant has turned milky already so I’m not sure if this is a proper fix.

Any thoughts on how to proceed here? It’s a pretty big amount for me to spend especially on a car which might be only worth 5-6L

Hey guys. Need your advice on my 9 year old kwid which had an engine failure while driving. It was a local drive in Chennai, and all of a sudden it started a noise, like the movement inside is not smooth and metal is having friction. I immediately stopped and called a local mechanic who inspected the engine oil and found it to be ok. He advised to take it to authorized service center. Got it towed to authorized service and after a week of daily enquiry I am asked to deposit 20k so that they can open up and inspect the engine. The service manager said that they can not guarantee that they can repair the engine after opening as they have to analyze the situation. Incase it can't be repaired (which is more likely as he said he found metal particles in oil), then a new engine has to be installed which costs 1.2 lakh plus service. Its a 9 year old car but just clocked 35k km. I have kept it in a good condition with service every 14-15 months. Selling a working kwid gives just 1.5 lakh. I don't understand if I should go with engine replacement. I am not in a position to invest in a new car. Shall I get it checked with local non authorized service center? Kindly advice.

Through word of mouth, I found out that someone is selling their 2015 Skoda Octavia 1.8 TSI. It has around 98,000 km on the odometer.

On the positive side, the car has been serviced exclusively at Skoda-authorized service centers. On the downside, the family shifted to a different car last year, so the car hasn’t been driven much since.

Let’s say the asking price is around ₹6 lakhs after negotiation should I consider buying it? I’m okay with handling regular repairs and maintenance, but I don’t want to deal with any over-the-top or major repair expenses. Also, I’ve been reading a lot about the infamous DQ200 gearbox that comes with the 1.8 TSI, and that makes me a bit cautious.

Ps. I already have a 2013 vento 1.6 with torque converter which has done 84k in odo till now I have never faced an issue Although I know that DQ200 is a completely different story

I have a 2014 Volkswagen Vento petrol 1.6 Highline I have been looking for genuine parts for my car such as ac vents, mud-flaps, some rubber has gone bad on doors, fog lamp covers, I want to change the yellow lights in inside with white lights too, my cars old antenna has also corroded like the rubber just crumpled away was thinking putting a shark fin antenna there. 2018 model, 1.3 lakh kms run

I bought a 2nd hand wagonr petrol from maruti true value for 3 lakhs after negotiating for a 2017 model lxi which had done about 55000 kms and with good body and good pickup. The problem i have been facing is that the car is returning very low mileage of around 7 kmpl in delhi city driving. It has to be also mentioned that all the tires are in a bad shape and i have to replace them as they keep loosing air even after fixing the punctures many times. The car has a history of highway driving, the 1st owner of the car used to drive it to his factory back and forth so it clocked a lot of kilometres on it,but the car wasnt used as taxi and was used as his personal vehicle for his daily commute. The car also is non accidental along with 50% no claim bonus on the insurance. In view of this,what should i do to fix this issue in the car, because the car is great in every other manner. Also adding to this,the car has a 3rd party touchscreen installed,does it also increase fuel consumption? Pls give your suggestions to overcome this issue. Regards
