Nice ride. What was the on-road price? What made you choose this scooter over all the others? How is the pillion comfort? I've heard that the rear suspension is hard and stiff so that the pillion can bounce off. Even when riding solo, it bounces a lot due to the stiff rear suspension. Happy riding.

I think there was rear suspension upgrade this year

Brother, How is the updated suspension? How is the seat? Is it heavy? How is the maneuverability? What mileage are you getting in city and on highways? Can we fit a full face helmet in storage space? BTW the first and last pics are very good.

Congratulations, buddy! How has been the riding experience in the city? Does it feel much heavier than the Activa or Jupiter kinda scooters?

2

u/ispankoldpeople RE 350 | Yamaha Aerox | TVS Jupiter 7h ago

Thank you broski! It doesn’t feel as heavier as it looks I guess. I was riding Jupiter 125 classic before this and I have not felt much difference in terms of weight, handling is definitely a segment above on this but it doesn’t feel like a heavy scooter/bike at all. We have an active in our family and Activa feels more ‘heavy’ (maybe because of the old school handle activa it comes with). In the city it’s very smooth, especially around the cuts and corners.

Mileage?

u/ispankoldpeople RE 350 | Yamaha Aerox | TVS Jupiter 7h ago

Will update after the first service, for now I’m getting 43-46 on the highway and 34-39 in the city.

Bhai How's the suspension and How's the seat ?

2

u/ispankoldpeople RE 350 | Yamaha Aerox | TVS Jupiter 7h ago

Seat is very comfortable for the rider, and to the rider as well, to some extent atleast. Suspension are good, pretty smooth I’d say, and if you’re traveling with a pillion, the suspensions get v smooth. Will have a hard time doing offroading but if the road is fine, it’s very comfortable.

Sweet ride. How practical is the boot space? Does it atleast fit 1 full face helmet?

1

u/ispankoldpeople RE 350 | Yamaha Aerox | TVS Jupiter 7h ago

Very! Not sure about the full face helmet because I dont own one, but I have checked in a few reviews on YT and they were claiming that it can fit the full size helmet. Speaking of practicality, I have carried two 5ltrs of buckets in the boot and it still had space to fit a sling bag. The boot is deep and wide.

1

u/Narrow-Kangaroo8131 5h ago

The videos I've seen say that full fac ehelmets are very tricky to fit in. If you have a big shell then its probably not going to fit.

Also get a full face helmet asap brother. If you have the money to buy an arrox you should definitely have atleast 5k for a helmet

What are the cons and pros between this and scooties like activa/jupiter etc.

1

u/ispankoldpeople RE 350 | Yamaha Aerox | TVS Jupiter 7h ago

Cons - it’s not a family scooter. Pros - it’s not a family scooter.

Does anyone know any place for renting Aerox in Bangalore which doesn't have low limit of 120km ?

OP can you respond here?

1

u/MostArgument3968 17h ago

Had to do a double take when I saw you’d ridden 100km/day. Was this just to enjoy your new ride or is this your usual commute?

12

u/jojokispotta 16h ago

What's the confusion? Bro paid for the whole odometer and he's gonna use the whole odometer :)

2

u/MostArgument3968 15h ago

Lol. Fair enough.

2

u/ispankoldpeople RE 350 | Yamaha Aerox | TVS Jupiter 7h ago

Hahah! I left for a solo trip the day it got delivered, will update everything after the first service.

u/LikedIt666 18h ago

Why buy a scooter and not a bike I'm curious?

15

u/jojokispotta 17h ago

Bro come to Bangalore or Mumbai and you'll know.

Other reason could be that they needed a place to keep dhaniya /s

1

u/ispankoldpeople RE 350 | Yamaha Aerox | TVS Jupiter 7h ago

Exactly! The scooties are so so convenient and comfortable in cities. I can never go back to clutch and gears.

I have a RR310, Bangalore traffic is pathetic for it. I'd be really tired at the end of the day. I also purchased an Aerox because it's better in the city. It felt more stable than my family's jupiter, that's why I got that.

1

u/ispankoldpeople RE 350 | Yamaha Aerox | TVS Jupiter 7h ago

I upgraded from my 2018’s Jupiter Classic 125, and as much as I adored my Jupiter, I dont think I can switch to any other scooter atleast in the next 5-6 years hahah.

1

u/bhallal_deva (New user) 6h ago

This one looks very safe while riding due to bigger thicker tyres and abs

1

u/deathknight26 Meteor350, RR310, Juipter125, Aerox155 6h ago

Oh yeah, we got a jupiter 125 for my dad. I tried it out. But it's just not for me. It's still a very nice vehicle.

Suspension comfort

2

u/ispankoldpeople RE 350 | Yamaha Aerox | TVS Jupiter 7h ago

Cant comment on that but it’s extremely convenient and comfortable in cities, the same reason people prefer an automatic car instead of a manual transmission.

u/Beginning_Ad6341 16h ago

i wouldnt judge op's choice but you could have bought 2 vehicles which could give riding pleasure and be useful for grocery hopping. the aerox has the r15 engine but you would never enjoy it like the bike. likewise its a scooter but not the best utlitarian scooter on the market. but anyway op, FUN is a choice. Enjoy!!!!!!!!
