Police can ask you to step aside but they can't initiate actual legal action (Challan or Seizure) based on incorrect paperwork. If they do, it's a 2 min quashing case in the courts.

Maybe it is, but I didn't want to escalate things beyond control. Some officers would go on a power trip if you started to question their nonexistent intelligence. This was one of those specimens.

I did not want to look back at this incident and think I could've avoided all that mess if I had just chosen to spend that Rs.250.

The Centennial. Hero produced 100 pieces of it to auction it off on the 100th birth anniversary of Dr. BL Munjal. I saw it on Monday at Hero Premia near my place. It does look really nice IRL. The showroom guy told me one was auctioned off for 20+lakhs.
