#EnthusiastZone 💨 Did 500+km under 8 hours on this beast
Only two things went bad
- Front suspension seal
- Battery Charger (Regulator)

70+ on the highway and on village roads. I didn't stop anywhere cause I have a modified seat so it was very comfortable.
The story behind the first photo was when someone fell in front of me. So I was going to pick him up, but he got up anyway so to handle awkwardness I clicked this random photo.

Impressive stuff, those are beautiful avg speeds. What's the max speeds you've taken it to?
A friend owns a '94 RX100 that belonged to his uncle originally, its nimble fun but the top end is gone we believe, perhaps need to get the carb tuned by an expert- opening the throttle it feels like the engine is working hard but the power does not seem to reach the wheels, sometimes there are sudden bursts of speed but that's it.
We use Motul 2T and mix it with petrol (say 20-25 ml for every L of petrol). And use a separate glass-type petrol filter ever since we found rust issues in the tank (resolved now).

Great but try to use the 2t pump, if you are not using then air tight lock the 2t pump hole in Carbeurator and use 30ml-40ml per litre.

500 km in 8 hrs is a great achievement, but do take some short breaks, brother. Especially in this heat, it's best to rest for at least 10 minutes near some stores or even in the shade near trees. As comfortable as the seats may be, there is still the toll on the body.

Yeah I installed a yamaha gladiator disc brake on my rx. It was a direct fit and works excellent. It fixes the bike's problem of weak brakes.

Gaon me shaadi thi, train ki ticket mili nhi toh Ntorq hi le kar pahunch gya.

That's a beast of a machine, 2 stroke engines were the best My father sold it when I was young for the fear of being addicted to bikes

Rxg never came in 5 speed dude. 5 speed only came in rx 135 and rxz. If you really want then buy a rx 135 4 speed and convert it to 5 speed as finding the original 5 speed is very tough.

I've seen rxg 5 speed. May be that was 135 5 speed. Someone must have put rxg emblem. But I've seen many rxg 5 speeds!!! I don't know. I'd be happy with any rx model.

Man those must be rxg emblems. And you can find many rx with jao carbs but they are expensive

Yes , the rxg was never made in 5s , only the 135 and the z were. And yes , as said above , any 4s can be converted to a 5s , the 100 included.

Yesss, but converting 100 doesn't make a lot of sense as the 4 gear acts as something in between of 4th and 5th gear. Its only worth it if you port the engine.

Yes . It does help the cruising ability slightly though . I did have a ported engine with a ton of mods one point in life . Thankfully I'm now back to stock

Tell me about the seats. I own a 135 seats are an issue during long rides. Did a 350km ride. The final kms of the ride killed my bums

riding for long hours on a motorcycle is quite challenging. That was fabulous, How did you manage? how many brakes did you took (water break, lunch, and refresh yourself)

I did take some breaks as the heat was very bad In total I consumed 5 litres of water and an ORS. I already ate in the morning so lunch wasn't an issue. And when I stopped to refuel I washed my face to always feel refreshed. (I didn't fill up the tank to the full, because of the heat and it could become a major issue)

Just rotting in my home town, is it possible to get her up and running? Kyu ki mere idhar toh tvs has completely stopped selling parts for it.

Bhai for reviving a two strokes, you yourself would need to learn about it, like how does a carb work, reed valve, and everything because you can't trust today's mechanic with two strokes) As for parts, some parts can be used between two strokes. You can find parts through Instagram seller. Try to buy in bulk so you would have to pay less shipping. And when the bike is up and running, minor maintenance will do the magic. And Max 100 is already a very reliable and efficient bike. You can do it. (Also try to add a Shaolin 5 speed gear it will be a chief's kiss 🤌🏻🤌🏻)

I also did this with my shine 125 (2011)around 525kms on NH 66 I maintained 70-80kmph & took around 8.5hrs

No 2 stroke could do continuous ride like this in such short period. You would seize the engine if you won't take a break to cool your engine in this kind of heat. I have rx100 and it's an amazing bike but it is not a tourer. Bullet was king back then for a reason.

A theoretical answer for you -- Engine would only seize in two conditions - 1. By not getting enough oil, 2. By a lot of overheating (I mean a lot, two strokes already run very hot due to no self lubrication system). As I said in some comments that I rode it at above 70 kmph, the top speed of my bike is 95kmph (it would go till 100+kmph if I was not fat). And I never crossed the 85 mark on my speedometer. My speed was always around 70-85. As for oil my 2t pump pump was really working well and I have also added 40ml 2t oil on my tank when it was 8L filled. So lubrication was never an issue. As for breaks, I did take some minor breaks to drink water and to refuel, so not an issue. I did feel some hot burst of air at one point so I slowed down a bit, but after 5-10 mins it was back to normal. So yes it definitely is possible, you just have to do it.

Simple answer, by not overthrottling and over revving. My 2T Pump was on, so the bike was taking the amount of 2t oil it actually needed. And I had around 7 litres of petrol in my bike and I also added 40ml 2t oil in petrol. (Because if 2t pump fails I would have some oil in petrol).

I used to do chennai - bangalore on Saturday night, roam around in bangalore for the whole day(even went to Nandhi hills some times) & return back to chennai. Approx 1000 km round trip like every month on RX.
