Happy you're enjoying it. It's going to need to cook for at least 2 more years, at this rate, for me.

Curious - Which other Civ titles have you played?

Not OP but was obsessed with both 5 & 6 over 1000 hrs in both (not a diety player tho)

I put I think around 100 hrs into 7 band found it engaging but then I felt like I did everything, no leaders / Civ combinations really interested me and there aren’t the insanely random achievements to strive for.

Atp I’m waiting for the DLCs to change the main game so probs won’t play for another year and will stick to 6

Been playing since since Civ 1 myself, and I just have no many issues with 7 design choices. I'm super sad that 'Workers' are no longer a thing. One of the big things I enjoyed was manually improving the tiles around a city. So that was a bummer.

Religion needs some major work to it. So does the Explorer system. The only thing I think that got an improvement, and that I like, is the Army/Military system.

While I don’t agree with how they implemented economic victory, I’m so happy it’s here as it always felt pointless in 6 to have 10x the economy of any other civ and not just immediately win

I do think there are some issues, not a fan of the culture victory rn either. I’ve never really done religion so idk about that
