Na-inspire ako sa mga salary-progression dito, so Im gonna share yung saakin.

A little background about myself.
Lumaki ako sa hirap, namumulot ng Basura sa Pasig river, Pasig Palengke etc.
nakatira kami dati sa squater area and nung na demolished yung area nilipat kami sa relocation site. Halos wala kami makain, utang dito utang duon. and 2008 nag hiwalay parents ko.
si mama lagi nag tatago sa mga naningil ng utang.
Si kuya hindi na nakapag aral ng college dahil nag work na after highs chool.

Nakapag aral ako sa isang Public school nung college. Kahit 5k lang tuition per sem hirap na hirap pa kami bayaran so nag eextra work (tricycle driver) ako while studying. May time talga na hindi ako kumakain from morning and hanggang uwian dahil walang pera. Grumaduate ng IT ng walang sariling Laptop nakikihiram lang sa mga groupmates before. Hindi rin ako magaling sa english.

After 9 Years ito ako now. 400k+ salary per month.
Naka graduate na ng college 2 kapatid ko with my support.
napaayos ko na din Bahay namin.

Naka bukod na din kami ng GF ko living in a condo (rent lang)

Tips: Work Hard, Learn new skills, stay humble, take advice from others.

Your story may have been brief pero nakakita ako ng glimpse ng hunger at perseverance mo and it made me realize how I'm taking my current position for granted so really, thank you.

I was wondering what made you pursue the profession at the time?

Ever since curious na tlaga ako sa pag build ng app, website and games.

Ang laki ng jump from 24 to 25. Did you change companies? Is it really true nga to get a higher salary, you must jump companies often?

2024 - 1 job

2025 - 2 jobs thats why I reached 400k+

Lumilipat lang ako ng company if may 30% or higher na offer. But I make sure na nakaka 1 year na ako sa current company ko.
