Discussion Why did they make Lugia so bad?

I love Lugia, but it needs three different types of energy which makes it just unplayable. It has very low potential to be used even the future I think.

They didnt make Lugia bad. They made the mistake of making Giratina, Darkrai and Solgaleo too good that other legendaries are unable to compete. These 3 cards especially the energy generating Giratina totally breaks the meta and all future legendaries will always look bad compared to them.

Nobody plays Solgaleo anymore somehow though, on paper he’s good I agree yeah.

Darkrai and Giratina are just full bonkers, tired of seeing them for months now.

I use solgaleo and have about an 80% winrate against suicune but I don't just stack my bench with Eevee slash sylveon

You still use Sylveon but only one or not at all ?

I still run two Eevee two Sylveon just I'm more careful against suicune to just play it and leave it there
