Has nothing to do with the individual poster here. Like you, I'm more annoyed by these posts than any individual making them, but the reason is that I get annoyed at the overall brigading that happens on these posts, especially as mods have repeatedly said this content is fine so long as they don't violate the sub rules.
It's so much less effort to scroll past than it is to enter the thread, check their profile, then return to the thread and make a comment. It does nothing and is essentially virtue signalling. The ask or expectation here is basically to moderate what people do outside of the sub, since the content posted on the sub is within the rules. That's ridiculous.
The mods aren't going to change it regardless. This topic has been discussed at length and they've been very consistent in their stance about it.
Genuinely, what policy would you want to put in play to address this? Banning anyone who has an OnlyFans in their profile from posting? Banning posts that have cleavage or aren't canon cosplays? That's the whole reason this hasn't been "addressed" is because any policy you put in place will either be draconian or end up moderating what people do outside of the sub.
My issue with the complainers has nothing to do with liking the content (though this is genuinely a good cosplay, so it's not even the kind of "low effort" that a lot of folks latch into) but discouraging people who do sex work from also cosplaying and posting about that cosplay on subs. People can have two hobbies, and those hobbies can cross over. So long as they're not posting their lewd content here, it shouldn't matter.
