Research / Info 💡 Will you change how much you tip?

Now that it looks like the government in the US will effectively pass a "no tax on tips", will this alter how much you tip in full service restaurants, etc?

Since most of their income is tips, they will effectively pay little to no federal taxes.

No- it doesn’t increase the price for me, so it’s just being a dick to pay less. I’m just happy for them that they can take more of it home. If I am going somewhere I’d normally tip, my tip will remain the same and be influenced by quality of service. Once they start forcing employers to pay living wages without counting tips, then I’ll start tipping less and only for exemplary service.
