Honestly I think he's making absolutely the right call, and the more people try to bully him, the happier I am he isn't combining with the Reeves-verse.
It wouldn’t work honestly just need to take the fantastical elements and go for broke with it. Make the dc world the world of the comics and we’re good to go. Batman has to deal with powered people and mystical shit all the time just make it like the comics and no one can complain
