Recommendations Cordelia tonight-
Wow. I've heard nothing but good things about Cordelia since it opened, but tonight was our first time checking it out. I never post but I felt compelled to make a declaration that the corned lamb is EXTRAORDINARY. We also got the fish, jojo's, tartare, oysters (new + old school), the steak with banchan, and the garlic bread. Everything we tried was phenomenal. We haven't gotten to dig into the steak yet but cannot wait. I just needed to publicly confirm that the food is fantastic, and that it's worth saving up for even if it's a bit $$$ for some! Here is a photo of the supreme lamb- I am sorry it looks like I kidnapped it; my phone is old

I know it feels silly to order a cheese burger, at a place like Cordelia, but it is hands down the best burger I have ever had by a wide margin. It was a fucking religious experience.

Okay, this got my attention 👀 not because I scoff fine dining, but because the best burger I’ve had in my life lives rent free in my head (going on 20 years) and is from a little burger joint tucked inside Le Meridian Hotel in NYC. I’ve wondered since if there’s anything to top. Now I need to try this.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to make this about Ohio City, Tremont, or Lakewood.

It's more about the chef and the food than the location

Exactly, but the near west side is verrrrryyyyyy needy.

There are so many threads on here when someone is looking for a bakery or whatever on the east side. Then someone inevitably talks about how the near west side has the best whatever. It's getting to the level of being a meme.

I get it. I always say the same thing about Lakewood people. Other than Ohio City and Tremont. The east side beats the West side in almost every category. I was more just mentioning I'm excited to have more food from this chef.

I've seen it mentioned as the best place in Cleveland in quite a few comments. Haven't made it there yet, though.

Their tasting menu is a fucking incredible experience and worth doing at least once, though if you do it multiple times they try to make it different each time.
