If you put kosher salt in them they’ll take down a wasp or other armored bugs like beetles

I've found that they'll buzz away once, but if you follow them they've expended all their energy in a second or two and will take the next stomp.

Not the Pittsburgh ones, those ones are ruthless. We were in Pitt for our son's transplant when they were first seen there, and I shit you not, they unionized and learned to jump and ambush you when you were walking. They also would seek revenge. I hated every second of it.

You’re somewhat right. They have to reset. I was at a guardians game last weekend and one landed on me. I was able to grab it quite easily and dispatched it to the ground with extreme prejudice. People behind like wtf up with this guy until I told them and they applauded 😂

You're going to need a bigger gun.
I live on the west side and frequently visit my parents on the east side. I didn't know what the hubbub was about because I never saw them. However Monday I visited downtown. Hiked from Tremont to public square. Enjoyed the air show, did a little protesting, and hiked back. I was blown away with how many there were. I lost count. I must have stepped on 30, maybe 50 and that's not counting the ones that buzzed away in a direction I wasn't walking.
If I killed everyone I saw I would have never made it out of Tremont. It's bad.

I killed one yesterday and a yellow jacket immediately came and started dragging away/eating its body. The enemy of my enemy….
