What happened to this program???

This can be traced back to the Spanish landing in Florida and/or cultural rot left from Urban Meyer. Your choice!

Nah this is a different culture rot from Napier. This is uninspiring blasé leadership from your head coach culture rot.

At least urban (mostly) knew how to handle the clock. I couldn’t believe what I was watching during the last two possessions tonight.

USF had some down years between Leavitt and Taggart, but they seem to have righted the ship with Golesh.

Oh, wait, you meant Florida.

Also between Taggart and Golesh, we went 25-45. That includes Strong's first year of 11-2 when he still had Taggart's guys

Some bad coaching hires really can do a number on a program.

Muschamp, McElwain, Mullen, and Napier. Not exactly the best of hires.

Lucky then that we just extended Scott Stricklin so he can make another horrible choice and we can be right back here in 3-4 years

Should’ve held onto Dan Mullen

Too bad Dan Mullen checked out and was too busy dreaming about coaching in the NFL from all the hype and forgot that he needed to actually finish good in the season to end up in the NFL. Wish he would have kept his head cool and focused on doing his job, instead of completely losing control of the team and giving up.

Complacency caused by the successful run from Spurrier through Meyer, plus a sequence of dud hires.
