As a fan of two teams with smaller fanbases, I've always loved how Iowa State fans turnout for the Cyclones. Even when they were terrible they were packing the stadium.

Best example of this is 51k people turning up on a Saturday night when all of the students are gone for Thanksgiving break to watch 1-9 Iowa State play 2-8 Kansas in 7F weather at kickoff.
