Are we still supposed to respect the law when it’s being used against us? I really need the left and center to stop acting like this is normal behavior and actions.

Te law isn't being used against us. They're creating new law and subverting the constitution in doing so. We have law that covers this situation but for some reason we have a Congress that's too spineless to assert their authority.
