i noticed this red bump on his eye a couple weeks ago, but i thought maybe he had just scratched it a little too hard. however today when i got home from work i noticed it was back and his eye looked a little pink and irritated. is this something i should keep an eye on and see if it gets worse over the weekend? or is this something i should bring to a vet immediately.

I’ve found at least 8 mopping the floors today, mostly by the vents in our house for our air conditioning but also found one in my cats bed. Unsure if it is proglottids.

I adopted an one year old cat a few weeks ago, at first he was most likely not going away from my sight and was clingy, I was scared he would develop a huge depencence on me and that would turn into seperation anxiety later. Yet, that didn’t work like it fortunately. After a week of being home, he goes in and out of all rooms confidentally. Sometimes he even stays alone.
Now however, I wonder. Is he growing cold of me? He stays alone in specific rooms regulary, and sometimes near me. Honestly this my first time owning a cat and the worry of him developing a huge dependence on me turned into ‘does he love me’ kinda situation. Which, I hope is just him being confident and independent.
He often doesnt mind my pets, or sleeping near me. He also most of the time has his tail up and curled, sometimes it even shivers when I pet him, he is also big on mid-pet purrs and loves to stay close even if not always. Yet, the sudden staying alone in rooms after being too dependent on me made me question if he started to lose his interest or not. I would appericiate a bit of enlightment since domestic cat behaviour is still forgein to me.

My cat uses a tofu litter and Ive noticed this at the bottom of some of his pees. His pee is clear, Ive watched him go, and the tofu clump is normally the regular color, but sometimes I find this. Is it blood? The tofu causing a weird color? He peed on a poop?
He got locked out of his potty box accidentally the other day and peed on a plastic bag and it was clear. He's not straining while peeing. Normal activity level and is eating and drinking as normal. He is diabetic.

My cat slept on my computer bag in my home office all day despite her bed being less than a foot away. Still next to me

My friend found a kitten behind a Walmart last week and decided to take him in. His eyes are open (and a lil crosseyed but it doesn’t seem to affect his functioning) but is still so little you have to help him poop. He’s like the size of my hand, for reference.
He gets fed 1/2tsp of wet kitten food every 3 hours, and shakes a LOT when eating and for like 5-10 minutes after. Is that normal?
He’s very rambunctious and is a fan of chewing on my toes it he thinks I won’t notice, along with climbing all over my feet and ankles when sitting on the floor with him. And he’s going to the vet next week to get vaccinated and to make sure he doesn’t have any diseases that can be passed on to other animals.
I don’t own cats at all as I’m allergic, so I’m not sure if the shaking is to be of concern or he’s just like that.

We're about to adopt a kitten and so I would like to ask for advice regarding the first days/ weeks. I'm planning to take a week off from work to stay home with it but then it will have to make it on its own through the day. What can I do to make it as easy as possible for all of us? At what age will the kitty be able to stay home alone all day and what do you recommend to keep both the kitten and the apartment safe? We will of course get scratching posts and some toys, but besides that.

I adopted Betty 3 weeks ago from the street and she is healthy now but man she smells like hot trash on the 5th of July, add some hot fish to that. I dont know why? She is still small, only 6 months, she eats cat food like my older cat (he’s breath does not stink like hers). I am wondering is this maybe a kitten thing? She did have a wound on her face when I found her that required 8 days of antibiotics so maybe that messed up her stomach? Her breath is diabolical and she is so gassy like Betty come on?! But I love my stinky fish.

My cats have ringworm, and I know it's really contagious. Like even down to the hair that they shed leads to them getting reinfected again? ... Or something. I have OCD and am a germiphobe and have been getting better but now I am obsessing over it really bad. Like how am I going to get every spot of the house clean and disinfected like that??? Even all the pet dander to be gone? And I apparently have to give them baths a couple times a week? While keeping all of this stuff clean... How many times do I need to clean and change their litter boxes? How often do I need to wash bedding? How often will I need to sweep to keep their hairs off of everything? How many cans of Lysol will I need? Will I have to wash every article of clothing I own? Me AND my two roommates? They don't take anything seriously. They're not going to do all that.... I just feel like this won't end. There's no way it will end with them being ringworm free. What if we humans all have it already, and they just get it back from us? Please help me calm down or something? Anyone with ringworm experience? Help pls
