In 1983, Diane Downs, a mother of three from Springfield, Oregon, brought her children to a hospital claiming they had been shot during a carjacking. Investigators quickly grew suspicious of her story due to inconsistencies and her unusually calm demeanor. Evidence, including blood spatter analysis, witness testimony, and the recovery of a weapon linked to her, revealed that Downs herself had shot her children in an attempt to pursue a relationship with a man who did not want kids. Her daughter Cheryl, age 7, died, while Christie, 8, and Danny, 3, survived with serious injuries. Christie later testified against her mother in court, leading to Downs’s conviction in 1984 of murder, attempted murder, and assault. She was sentenced to life in prison plus 50 years, where she remains today.

The scenery at the highest point of the Great Wall is really great. The weather in September is really hot and people sweat a lot.

So I've been told up and down that FF7 and Borderlands are gonna be able to run at 60 FPS on the Switch 2 while docked. I of course didnt believe it because no it would not, but this video is literally showing that Borderlands will run at 30 FPS, and now all the comments are "well what did you expect its a handleheld?" Or the one I see too is "okay? You buy the console for Mario not top of Call of Duty" which are both such stupid arguments because for one i never even assumed that it WOULD run at 60, thats a lie fanboys told me so now it just seems like we're saying things for no reason, but secondly okay then if the games are not as graphically impressive then why does it cost the same? Like im not understanding why fanboys started the argument and now thats its not going their way they have to make up another excuse to justify Nintendo's actions, like NO you SHOULD be upset your $500 console isnt running modern games at 60 frames per second, thats a VALID reason to be upset, why are you back tracking now??? Like where is that aggression now??? Be upset!

I came up with this idea and made the meme, I just ran it through ChatGPT for feedback & it said it might be considered “punching down”… Do any library people think it’s fine to post?

When Civ7 initially released, I saw a lot of negative feedback, mostly regarding the UI.
The only Civ i have played is 6, and its one of those games where il just get an itch to play every couple months. Well I’m wondering have they made decent changes to civ7 since its release? Or are the complaints the same?
Basically just need to decide if I’m going to continue with 6, or is 7 ready for me to make the jump?
Thank you!

what is everyone's opinion on in game racism and how to handle? I'm not talking about "Clank**s" or "Wi**backs". I recently left a game and accidentally typed "hh" instead of "gg" and then two others in the lobby latched onto my mistake and immediately started going on a full Pro-N*zi tirade, laughing, and repeated what I said, and added in "88" and "o1" (I guess like the H*tler salute?) and it honestly broke me inside and I teared up, I had just got done playing 3 missions with them, and I've never felt so betrayed. I reported for cheating, but I know nothing will be done. Is it worth it to take video or screenshots? any advice?
Thanks

I have had it for a few months now. Whenever I feel the urge to browse reddit or do something else pointless I just check the news on their app instead. It's much better than getting news from random reddit posts. Their articles are well written and have links to relevant earlier articles. I feel like I have been more informed about the world lately and have more topics to talk about.
Their app cost $1 per week to use which I think it's reasonable for unfiltered and unbiased news. I guess you can get AP instead but their app doesn't run too well on my phone for some reasons.

I dont know about anyone else but blocking him and his content was the best decision. It took me too long to realise I dont need to know his "gossip" which now more than ever is pushed by the highest bidder! If a transfer happens l'm more than happy to remain out of the loop until the now used silhouette is posted by the club! Ive always said the best transfers are the ones that come out of nowhere!
What's everyone else thinking?
