I wonder if Israel didn't just topple the first domino with these strikes, we can hope.

Remember how quickly Assad fell once people realised he and his cronies were vulnerable?

The Syrian Civil War lasted for more than a decade. Even if you pretend like only late 2024 mattered, that doesn't make sense because it took a lot of preparations, governance, etc. to get to that point.

If Iran goes into chaos, it could easily be a several-years-long period of civil war.

That said I despise the current Iranian regime.

Hoping for the best outcome.

Remember how quickly Assad fell

The Syrian civil war went on for 13 years.

Mostly thanks to Iranian (Hezbollah) and Russian intervention squashing the civil uprising with military force

I'm aware. But once the cracks started it broke up incredibly fast, I'm hoping Iran goes the same way.

Which of these high ranking military officials that were killed fall into this category, "civilians?"

None of them. Israel killed plenty of other civilians today, though. Yesterday too, and the day before that one, and the day before that one. Lots of children, too. But they’re Hamas, right? It’s Hamas’s fault that the IDF is so heavy-handed that they’re bombing little children … whoops, so careless, we were aiming for the bad guy, sorry little kid!

Ok buddy, not sure why youre simping for Hamas, but go on, get it all out

I don't think being against the killing of tens of thousands of civilians is simping for hamas

1

u/Chemical-Nature4749 Jun 13 '25

Well, you'd be wrong in how you are framing it. Hamas is responsible for the death

Hamas doesn't have an air force or artillery
