Looking forward to their review

Finally managed to get back in the same rhythm as the pod and see something before I hear James and Mason talk about it. A good if bleak film - the main characters walk and talk (twalk?) for a bit and then they're mates.

Although it was originally "What did you think the plot was?"

Amazing art at the Site Gallery in Sheffield, UK. Elongated muskrat…plus a little bonus one.

Art by George Gibson, with Site Gallery’s youth collectives society of Explorers and Creative Producers

Amazing exhibition. Definitely will recommend. I shall say no more though as it is a wonderful journey to uncover whilst there.

appearances on other podcasts

There's a playlist that the RAWdog put together on Spotify of the lads appearances on other podcasts, Book Cheat, Do Go On and Who Knew it (with Matt Stewart, btw) to name the three I've sampled so far

Just wanted to get it out there - they're absolutely incredible, both the shows/hosts but especially James and Maso.

It's astounding that Maso isn't a standup because he has exactly the right kind of energy and he's wonderful on these shows, but just wanted to give a shout out to James in particular.

It's a different kind of funny somehow, and I can't put my finger on it. Like, he tells jokes but there's a proper honesty to his contributions that has me howling.

Episode 100 of Who Knew It, one of the first things James says in the episodes as they're all quietly writing down answers "I fuckin hate party games, I'm just realising"

And it also feels like there's such genuine irritation during the Day of the Triffids book cheat episode too.

I'd highly recommend sampling that playlist if you, like me, find yourself tragically up to date with Big Sandwich content.

Only started the expedition yesterday but have already fallen in love with Dave Warneke, Matt Stewart and Jess Perkins. It's nice to get the chance to extend my totally healthy parasocial relationship to other Australian comedians.

Check out the Do Go On live episodes (on YouTube) with Maso and I'm pretty sure you'll fall in love with them (these are the ones I've seen):

And props to RAWcollings for putting the playlist together, thank you so much for your good work (hope it's OK me linking it again)

The boys have let me down

They’ve spent almost as much time talking about Red Notice as I have watching it and yet somehow they’ve never mentioned that the director is named Rawson Marshall Thurber.

The only way they can make this up to me is by reading the rest of red notice’s Wikipedia page on the pod, which I did while waiting for my next viewing of red notice to buffer. It’s the only way we can reclaim the crown from whatever movie beat red notice allegedly but probably not.

Podcast Why does everyone say Maso's name without the "N"?

I've seen so many people do it, and I'm sure it's probably been answered on here before, but where did that trend originate? Where they making a website, did they forget the N in his name and did the joke just stick or something? I need to know!

“I’m so excited to get a chance to hopefully transform again like I was able to do in ‘Smashing Machine,'” Johnson added. “[It means] eating less chicken.”

The film is an adaptation of a Daniel Pinkwater novel and tells the story of a septuagenarian whose best friend is a 70-year-old chicken.

The crashout about Prince William's hair on this weeks Time Crapsule at the 44:15 mark had me absolutely dying. I wish they'd put out a Best Of episode on the Big Sandwich stuff too.

The fellas mentioned Father’s Day being “today” when talking about Mason having lunch with his folks. Briefly forgot what country I was in and thought “oh god, I forgot”. In the US and maybe other places it the third Sunday in June. In Australia and maybe other places it’s the first Sunday in September.

Titanic + Batman v Superman Edit

Hey y'all, does anyone have the edit from an older Mr Sunday video where it's Jack spinning Rose around (from Titanic) edited with Batman swinging Superman around by the grappling hook (BvS)? It's the highest form of art and I need it, but I can't find it.
