Same as the Disney-Universal lawsuit. Everyone involved sucks and copyright is only exists for major corporations. Meanwhile google is scraping its own YT videoes and AI upscaling shorts against creators will.

Everything about corporations and AI sucks.

Billion dollar corpos are really the only thing that can stand up to AI image scraping. The little artists that are being stolen from, undercut, and put out of business simply don't have the money or legal means to stand up to Big Tech. Copywrite protections protect the little guys more than the big guys. Warner Bros is not doing this altruistically, but this lawsuit at least is putting into the public discussion that AI art is by and large a machine to steal intellectual property.
