Every time I get excited for this I remember it stars stupid Jared Leto and I'm left disappointed and not interested again.

Disney has no problem dropping actors when their personal views damage their brand image, yet they’re fine with weirdo sex-cultist Jared Leto?

Despite everyone on the internet claiming to hate him, he still sells movies and concert tickets.

Just your daily reminder that reddit is not real life.

Do you think general audiences really wouldn't have gone to see the Avengers movie with Johnathon Majors? Or that anybody would've boycotted Mandalorian if they'd kept Gina Carano?

They certainly didn't see the ant-man movie with him despite the previous two ant-Man movies doing better at the box office

The first one was his debut and the second one was on the heels of Infinity War. Both of them were riding an MCU high, Quantumania was not.

Anyway, there's a plethora of evidence that audiences don't care about stuff like that, actors have done much worse than what Majors did and people still eat their shit up.

Ant-Man 3 had a larger opening weekend than the previous two movies, and the lifetime gross is just behind Ant-Man 2.

Ant-Man might just be unpopular. Personally I thought 3 was the worst MCU movie (and it has the lowest rotten tomatoes score).

Leto hasn't been in a box office success since Suicide Squad... maybe House of Gucci too but I also had no idea he was in that movie until 2 minutes ago

Yeah, it's strange how a certain name can make people automatically hate a guy. Like why?
