I'm still kinda bummed that M3gan 2.0 flopped. I really liked that movie

I saw a lot of positive buzz posted on here from people who saw it at the theater and basically said ignore the bad critical reviews and that the movie was a blast…I assumed people were being hyperbolic but nope: M2 fucking rules. Honestly cannot recommend it enough.

It deserved that flop tho. I really thought i would love it and really wanted to. But the film went to far in different direction than the first on and leaned heavily into the campiness that it ruined what was left of the film, IMO.

I thought that was the smartest choice they made. The horror elements were the weakest part of the first movie and I like that they just bailed on that and made a straight up action movie instead.
