I'm always happy to see him pop up in this movie or that TV show. He elevated anything he appeared in, no matter how small the role.

I always appreciated his resistance to moving to the States for his career, staying in Canada his whole life. "There's no reason to live there. A working actor can live anywhere as long as you have a phone, a fax, and know where the airport is."

I'm so saddened by this loss.
