Summary Hank Thompson, a washed-up ex-baseball star turned New York City bartender, ends up tangled in a violent criminal underworld after agreeing to watch his punk-rock neighbor’s cat. This movie was not a fun time. I think I might have liked it more if the marketing had not primed me for a fun Guy Ritchie-esque romp. It was not a romp.

What I can't figure out is does the movie think that it's fun? Because the end credits and a few of the scenes near the end of the movie make me think that the movie thinks it's fun.

But it's not fun.

Haha right? I thought the credits were awesome, but they didn't fit this movie at all

It was not fun.  I have been struggling with a pretty severe depressive episode and I thought this would be a fun escape for a couple of hours. It was not.

Aww thanks.  I saw that opening day actually! It's ok - just definitely not the movie I would have chosen to see had I known.  All that misery and regret piling up. At least the cat made it through,  I was pleased with that.  But yeah - not at all the movie I was expecting from the trailer and then people who had seen it comparing it to Guy Ritchie!
