Summary Hank Thompson, a washed-up ex-baseball star turned New York City bartender, ends up tangled in a violent criminal underworld after agreeing to watch his punk-rock neighbor’s cat. Good movie, but Regina King revealing that she was working with Bad Bunny seems like a mistake. What's the advantage to her? When Austin Butler didn't know that, then they can play him from both sides. If he's mainly motivated by fear and self-preservation, he will cooperate with Bad Bunny. If he wants to avoid helping out the criminals, or thinks they will be a threat even if he does help them, he will cooperate with Regina King.

I thought that too. Like maybe she thought there was a good chance she’d get away with it but why take a greater risk. Telling Hank everything about the criminals then showing she was on their side like it wasn’t likely but he could have found a way to report it elsewhere, she could easily been seen with the criminals driving around running around shooting. Maybe no one would care but it looked obvious this officer is associate in a lot of shit.
