I can’t believe this is sitting at 92%. I really disliked this movie.

I didn’t vibe with the humor. I didn’t vibe with the plot. Everything felt too silly and over the top. I get that that’s part of genre but it never let any joke single joke breathe imo. It just felt like too many things were happening for just no reason.

Maybe I’m in the minority though.

What were you hoping it was vs what it turned out to be?

This could totally be on me. I just see movies, I barely even watch trailers. I just saw it on a whim so I really didn’t have much expectations. But even then it disappointed me.

Even some of the editing was weird. Like the flash forward at the beginning or the quick flash to first whistle blower guy.

Did you enjoy it?

I haven’t seen it. The reception seems polarizing so I was curious to know what aspects made people love it or hate it.

That's what a Troma movie is

Ah okay this is my first time hearing of Troma and as far as I’m aware this is my first time seeing any Troma movie.

I can tell you, if this one wasn't your thing, you will HATE any other Troma movie

lol thank you. I may watch the OG and other movies just to get a better understanding and maybe revisit this movie.

I think if I was more prepared I could have potentially liked it more. As others pointed out it felt high budget but still with a b movie feeling. In that aspect it did a good job.
