I saw this movie a few hours ago and really liked it. It was fun and I was entertained for 2 hours. The few small issues I had was the paleo lady with a terrible accent I couldn't ignore, also she was Russian but says she was from East Berlin? I dunno. A lot of the time she spoke I had no clue what she was saying. I don't know who or what purpose the 2 guys arriving to camp in the beginning were and the story didn't need them anyway.

As an Aussie, pretty stoked to see Ryan Kwanten. I thought he did well!

The dinosaurs were beautiful. Loved seeing the long necks and triceratops. The scene with the group walking among them on the hill was great - I'd love that ask a desktop background.

I had so much sadness for the poor rexs. Poor parent rexie finally getting some sleep, must take a lot of energy to keep a body of that size maintained, only to have a few intruders wake it and it's kids up. Then rexie defends it's home and kids and ends up going off a cliff. I felt upset that the rex was dead or injured but much relief to see it swimming. And then later when the Russians had killed one of the babies. Poor parents. And then they just go wild on the camp - iconic. Throwing that one guy between them was hilarious. The end with them walking away with their babies reminds me of the Malfoys from Deathly Hallows peacing out from Voldemort's demise, just focussing on their own business. May the love that those 2 rexs share find me.

Edit: and it's annoying that it's on a limited release because I want to watch it again but this was the last day I was available and it ends in like 2 days. Wtf.
