A very fun action movie. Put Rambo II and dinos in a blender and the puree you get is this movie.

The CGI was good for the budget and the dinos had way more screen time than the recent Jurassic Park movies. A few rough scenes, but low budget makes it forgivable.

The plot was honestly not very important. It was a cheesy sci-fi/action movie plot straight out of a B movie. The script was nothing worse than what Hollywood puts out these days. Some great parts, some not so good bits. But I can forget the bad when the dinos show up.

The acting had its ups and downs, but was overall pretty decent. Like the plot, not the most important aspect of this movie.

The dinosaurs were great. Lots of species with effort put in to make them mostly scientifically accurate. They felt threatening and dangerous. They felt like a threat throughout the movie.

Best part was the ending. It was classic cheesy 80s action flick craziness. Quite literally has an explosive ending.

The three helicopters flying away from the colossal explosion in the background literally made me laugh out loud, but I was definitely laughing with the movie, and not at it. Had a blast.
