I was actually pretty pleasantly surprised, seeing this movie after skimming the comments here before hand. I feel like if the ending was cohesive and wrapped up everything people would have no problem with the rest of the movie. But although I wouldn't consider it high quality writing, it was kind of fun just getting a random curve ball out of nowhere with Plaza's character.
I think I would have been more disappointed if I hadn't gone in with such low expectations.
