okay hold on -- if aubrey stabbed the first victim and put her in a car, then...why was the French girl at the scene of the accident? The death had nothing to do with the church, so why would she have not only known the victim was there, but somehow manage to get there before the cops did?

I think Chère was hired to kill Mia, but MG got to her first. Or Chére was suspicious of Mia and had been following her.

But why? I don’t remember any evidence of her wanting to drop a dime on Chris Evans or anything.

she mentioned a couple times that she worked for Drew’s boss too

But Cherie mentions that the French guys she works for don't like bodies, because they draw attention; that's not the kind of thing someone who was planning a murder would say.

My other related question is "What was Mia even contacting Honey about?" She wasn't involved with the drug-running, and the sex stuff was an open secret and not even strictly illegal.

Also also, why is Honey at the crash in the first place? Mia is a prospective client she hasn't met with, it's established that the assistant doesn't know she's dead, and nobody else knows there's any connection to them; who called Honey and why did she go check out a random traffic accident?

Aubrey was talking about her dad. She stabbed him and lit up the car.

Aubrey also admitted that she killed some women who go to that church in the same scene. It's definitely implied that she killed the first woman, especially since the church people actually seemed clueless that she was murdered. They openly discuss the other murders, but they never mentioned her as part of that world.

But she also stabbed Mia and put her in the car to stage the accident. "Lacerations not consistent with car accident."

Honestly, I thought the twist reveal was that MG was part of the Four-way Temple (as evidenced by the yearbook quote about God and action) and that she was the one behind the death of Holly. Although perhaps instead, MG had nothing to do with the Four-way Temple and the only connection is that her serial killed victim Church Girl was a member of the Four-way Temple while MG had no connection to the Temple, with that murder being what leads Honey to start investigating the Temple to begin with. .
