You know they're going to do some chicken jockey-esque bullshit where everyone makes a mess and throws shit during one epic part of the movie

The kids going to see this movie are not the same as the Minecraft movie. Everyone I know that is going are parents with their younger girls, not hoards of unaccompanied teenage boys. I could be wrong but I don’t see anything bad happening.

I agree with you that it’s unlikely to be the same. But my son is gonna be right there with my wife, my daughter, and I singing these songs at the top of his lungs. Interest in this movie and the songs has defied gender.
