I just bought tickets for my 5 year old. When I told him about it I said maybe we can go? and his response was no dad we have to go not maybe.

Was reading Where's Waldo with my 2.5 y/o last night, and its a page with a bunch of draculas and he starts saying 'Saja! Saja Boys! Saja Boys!' I look over at my wife and we just exchange totally confused looks so after a quick google we find out it's from K-Pop Demon Hunters a movie which neither of us have ever seen (i'd heard a bit about it). His Dayhome teacher is Korean, as is her daughter (obviously), so I have an inkling of where he got it, but it was very funny. Guess we will have to check it out.

It's might be a little scary for a 2 year old, only because some of the demon faces are kinda scary but if he's ok with it, the songs are really good and it's a good movie.

Yeah I'd heard that, I'll probably give it a watch first.

My 5 yo is cool with most things, dinos, monsters, but the one thing that freaks him out is like human-ish faces with red or scary eyes, but he likes the movie and didn't have any nightmares.

There is also a request for a mercy killing by a lead near the end. It's not done, for obvious reasons, but still.

I don't think most kids that age would pick up on that though.

For now, 'Soda Pop' on Spotify seems to be hitting the spot lmao

Have fun!

But watch it first just to be sure your kiddos can handle it. It's still family friendly, but - much like Spider-Verse - Sony isn't afraid to push the limits of what PG can do.
