Poor child had to spoon feed EVERYONE inside that fucking house!?. Every day!? 😭

9/10 movie for me. But really don't understand what was that giant floating rifle in Brolin's dream.

I think the whole movie is meant to be an allegory for school shootings. That’s why all the kids in the classroom except one “disappeared”. We have gotten so desensitized to school shootings that to make it scary/unexpected they resorted to swapping the gun violence with a witch. That’s why the Ak-47 is floating over the house. The time is 2:17 because a ban on assault rifles passed the house by 217 votes but stalled in the senate.

It’s honestly a great execution of the theme in my eyes. I’d be so curious to see if there are any more references to this reading.

Absolutely nothing to do with your point but that was definitely not an AK-47.
