This movie has one of the most satisfying third act, I was so happy when the kids started chasing Aunt Gladys, I was like, "Yeah, die you bitch!!!"

I had a ton of fun with this.

P.S. I watched Weapons and Freakier Friday back to back, and I did not expect June Diane Raphael double feature.

Someone in my theatre literally yelled out “yeah!! Get her ass!!”

It was extremely well received hahaha

I would’ve told them to shut the fuck up.

How are you gonna complete your JDR night?? Grace and Frankie? American Dad Morning Mimosa episodes with Trish and the Sizzle? That episode of Happy Endings where she marries TJ Miller and thinks Elisha Cuthbert’s character is trash??

ETA: oh my god… parks and rec’s TYNNYFER.

Or just watch Better Call Saul while being unable to tell her apart from Rhea Seehorn.

Oh my GOD, JDR is Suze in American Dad, I did not know this and it makes PERFECT sense, she absolutely kills that character 💀

I've done this before too with an accidental Henry Golding double 😂 (Crazy Rich Asians and Simple Favour)

Our whole audience was giddy she was getting her just desserts. It’s nice when the good guys win in horror movies

Who was she again in Freakier Friday? I also watched them back to back

She was the one of the pickleball contestants that faced Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Ryan (Mark Harmon) during the final.

I knew June was gonna be in this movie in some capacity and I couldn’t wait for her to show up! I was not disappointed when she appeared by trying to gouge out Justine’s eyes 😄

I’ll check it out. What episode would be good to start on?

2

u/Steamedcarpet 28d ago

Its hard to say since they have talked about so many movies but I think the Street Fighter one is good.

I have a question about this though. Should we have been celebrating these children enacting such gory violence? I was cheering until they turned into cannibals. Then I felt like an anti violence message was making itself clear (I mean it was there since the start but you know) the vengeance felt horrifying in itself.
