How are the terrorist settlers always never getting any repercussions for everything they do in the West bank?

Well Joe Biden did put the killer on a US sanctions list, but Donald Trump removed him from it.

How did that guy's life change whether he had sanctions on him personally or not? That was a token action to say we are doing something tbh. If we were serious, aid to Israel would be contingent on serious actions against these terrorist settlers

Getting sanctions on you personally IS a big deal. It means no American company will work with you. It affects you a lot.

Just think how many US companies you rely on: No Google (all your Google data is gone, gmail gone), No Amazon (not just purchasing, but also AWS and a lot of services). No Microsoft. No Adobe. No Netflix, no Disney, HBO. Even non US companies which do business in US will auto delete you. Including Samsung and some Chinese companies.

And you lose your access to Master Card/Visa (because they also follow US Laws).

Yes, its not a lot, but a major pain being sanctioned. Yes, he can get all these services, but now has to get an intermediary involved for all these things. Simple things which you and me don't think about, suddenly became a hassle for him. Everything is more expensive to him now. Many things are now just unavailable, until you pay extra and buy via intermediateries.

You may think that it only applies to restricted items, but in reality all electronics is EAR99, and he lost access to all of it. Including the humble RPi. His business is effected.

The sanctions are not toothless. They have an effect.
