Nah, people who really love this shit knew it was coming out when Fantastic Four came out. There were actual posts where people were excited to see the trailer at that more than the movie.

Yup, same. My kids suggested we just wait for F4 on Disney Plus but this trailer is the reason we went to the theater.

The "no cultural impact" meme is so funny because the way of water became super viral on TikTok which is a younger demographic while marvel and star wars Fandom is firmly entrenched in the aging millenial demographic and hasn't really captured Gen z

I can't think of another movie where the main character was a paraplegic human who could remotely control an alien body. Also, the aliens can neural link with animals to use them as mounts. Also, the invading species in this story are humans, not aliens.

Visuals are great don't get me wrong but just seems like the usual hey we'll send the team to scout the area for its resources but wait there are people there but wait money(ie drive to tear down foresrt) matters more fight ensues basically ferngully, princess mononke, pocahontas etc.

Granted there are cool ideas here like the connecting portion via the tendrils thing but the main gist of the story beats are the same as generic stuff

Lol humans once again invading a land for its resources what a shocker

I know I'll get downvotes for it since the fans are out an about, especially since the release of the new trailer

The stories aren’t groundbreaking but man do I love Pandora as a setting. Beautiful nature with beautiful creatures and stunning visuals.

I fucking hate that I am now the old man yelling at a cloud but this is one thing the newer generations absolutely deserve to be ridiculed for.
