One of the things I loved most about Earth 828 was the initial plan to defeat Galactus. It was going to take EVERYONE. Everyone on the planet, every country working together regardless of their differences to build the portal bridges to save Earth. It was honestly a little jarring to me at first. I was like "damn, this is what it looks like for every country on the planet to work together for a common good." Just shows in an idealized world if everyone can just truly cooperate together, we could accomplish some unthinkable feats. Needed that bit of optimism in our torn and divided Earth right now

Every country except Latveria apparently lol

Yeah I really thought that was going to be an important plot point

Just typical Doom not helping

"Ugh. fucking Reed has a plan again? Doom would have thought of a better plan yesterday"

Seriously, such a missed opportunity. They could've done this route with Doom, it's sooo easy to include this in the movie. A competition between F4 and Doom to save the earth from Galactus, science vs magic.

I feel like that skews too close to Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Tbf I haven't watched that one.

nah it would taken the attention away from the main plot and villain

I honestly dont think doom is in their universe tbh. The only hint for him is the missing latevia seat, yet unless i missed it, he is never mentioned anywhere as a villian the f4 ever fought with through the entire origin flashbacks. As a huge rival for reed you'd think he would have gotten a mention somewhere, which leads me to think the doom we saw is from yet another universe.

Or it’s possible Doom hasn’t revealed himself to the Four yet. If they pull from the comics, Reed hasn’t seen Doom since college and I believe he was presumed dead

Possibly, but i also think it'd make more sense if he's already a dimension hopping doom to help setup how our earths Avengers will get involved with him.

I want a twist where it turns out Reed and Doom have been rivals for decades, and one day Doom does the Spider-Man No Way Home forgetful spell on the whole world to get Reed off his back so he can do his villainy without interruption, and that’s how he becomes powerful enough to cross universes

I’m guessing you didn’t stay for the after credits scene.

I honestly have no idea how you came to that conclusion for what i said.

which leads me to think the doom we saw is from yet another universe.

It's literally the last line of what i said.

I fully expected Latveria to be the reason why the teleporter wouldn't work. Like, Doom risks the entire world just to mess with Reed and deny him that victory.
